Opinion Danger? VB? Sloanedog? What about Tex for captain?

I was just thinking in reply to Jenny in regards to how I don't like how politically correct Australia is, I wondered if Tex would make a good captain.

He bleeds for the club but isn't blinded by political correct shit.

His passion is extremely strong, he could lift the team with his words. I do think the others are good at this, but it's the next point is why I want Tex as captain now that I think about it.

He doesn't give a **** about being politically correct, he'll say what he thinks rather than the company line which is always politically correct. Combine this 'I don't care what you think' attitude, with his passion for the Crows, he could really get the fans interested in Adelaide, get those part time fans passionate to come more often. Fire up the crowd. It could be the spark the club needs to ignite the fan base to be one of the loudest most passionate fans in the league, get up there with Richmond.

What do others think? I for one have wanted Danger for a few years now, but just this last 15 minutes, I've changed my own mind to Tex, do you think he'd be a good captain for us?

Tex is our biggest assest going forward. He doesnt need any extra burden. Just needs to focus on getting back on the park.

That is exactly why Tex will never be captain. The club want the Van Berlo type who is a puppet and will agree with whatever the club wants
