Oppo Camp Dangerfield's Gone (Zero tolerance to trolling) - READ THREAD LINKED IN OP BEFORE POSTING

Just to recap, your "very real" possibility either involves:
  • Trading with Carlton for their #1 pick, which is wrongly assuming Carlton won't want to use their #1 pick for Dangerfield themselves.
  • Dangerfield sitting out of football for a year, which is ridiculous and highly unlikely.
Yes, both scenarios are a remote "possibility", but not even close to being "very real" possibilities. So stop making up ridiculous, far fetched scenarios and calling them "very real" possibilities. Possibilities they may be, but "very real" they most certainly are not.

Are these the scenarios he's stated as being very real !?!?:D

The word remote doesn't even come close to this fantasy laden scenario let alone " very real " possibility

Even the trading with Carlton scenario would involve Geelong giving up something

Next thing you'll know he'll come up with a scenario where Dangerfield raids a gun store and barges into Andrew Fagan's office with a semi-automatic and several hand grenades threatening to kill him and his family and blow up West Lakes if he doesn't accept the compo pick; and then say that it's a "very real possibility" that Geelong will get Dangerfield for nothing when that happens.

He's suggesting that Danger goes to the PSD and makes it through to Geelong's pick. I don't think that will happen, but that's what he's suggesting.

Again, that is a very remote possibility, but nowhere near a "very real possibility". I'm starting to think he was dropped on the head several times as a baby to think that his scenarios are "very real" possibilities.

Paul Connors is a snake....I'm still slightly suspicious ever since he mentioned months ago he suspects danger will either be at adelaide or geelong next season......it's unlike him to give away that kind of info. Almost like it was a decoy while he works on the real deal with say a HAWTHORN!!!

Sorry got a bit excited at the end

Not that I agree that it will happen, the mechanism for it happening would be along the lines of by the time the PSD rolls around there will be limited teams with the salary cap room available to take on Dangerfield as the PSD is after the trading and draft periods

Like you guys were?

I'm pretty content with how the GFC operate thank you.

At the end of the day I hope a fair deal is reached and you guys don't stuff up and get nothing again. Some of us will take joy in that but I think you deserve some good luck.
Yes, we ballsed up a fringe benefit. Thanks.

You have NFI about what Geelong do and don't do with fringe benefits in this day and age. The AFL have cracked down on it heavily and you're making yourself look like a tool coming on here saying Costa will make up the difference between what Dangerfield is worth and what he'll get. Now go away back to the circle jerk on the Geelong "we'll get Dangerfield for nothing and pay him unders" Board before you make a bigger dickhead of yourself.

Teams would be restructuring existing contract payments like crazy if there was any hint of Danger going to the PSD and they needed cap space.

he has no choice if it goes to psd so your logic is floored he nominates price first team with the cash will take him

So you agree that it's a remote and unlikely possibility, as opposed to it being a "very real" and "absolutely apparent" possibility according Strangled Cat.

How do you know? In fact, what makes you think that at all? Dangerfield just wants the quickest and easiest passage to Geelong. Matching Geelong's offer is contradictory to those wishes. Paddy may dish out a few more nasty surprises yet.
Don't count your chickens. Patty was sincere in his love and so hurt after Tippet left from the AFC and sure he's sincere in going to GFC.. or not.. but maybe

I don't expect to get him for nothing and have already said I hope it's a fair trade!

Hey guys, i come in peace.

I find this whole situation very interesting.

firstly i must admit i havent read through all your pages, so sorry in advance if this has been answered.

Is there anything to read into with regards to the press conference by you guys and Danger only really stating that he is seeking to come back Victoria. There hasnt been any mention of Geelong (or any other club) at all by him or you guys.

is there a reason this might be witheld at this point in time or do you guys believe its a case of Danger has said he wants to go back to Victoria, his ideal club of choice is Geelong, but if they don't present the right offer to compensate you guys, that he is happy to go to another Vic based club if the offer is better for the crows?
If Geelong can't provide adequate trades im sure he could live with going to Vic and still living in Moggs

I love these dickheads from the Melbourne based clubs on Facebook going "Geelong's only an hour from Melbourne". He wants to live in Moggs Creek, not Geelong you idiots.
