It's critically important that Australia maintains cordial relations with our largest trading partner, given the best we can hope for is to be forgotten by the dullards and loons in the Trump admin, who would shaft us for a nickle.
Long term though, Japan, Korea, Singapore, Vietnam, New Zealand, Australia etc. need to come together and present a counterbalance to the Sinosphere, because no good can come from being reliant on the whims of another superpower. Particularly one that identifies more closely with the interests of say Russia, than its Asia and Pacific neighbours, who are our allies.

My thoughts. Bibi is up there with the worst on our planet currently but he is in the league of Vlad, Kim Jong and Xi Jin Ping.
I think that’s what people are objecting to… considering Andrews and the style he led with, and the comps sons people made which were a tad unfair… all of a sudden here he is in a photo with some (not all) of the most ruthless depraved humans/leaders on earth.
It’s just ****ing dumb. But I don’t think he cares tbh he only cares about himself and his commercial interests… nothings really changed.
