I saw young Daniel Bell play against Box Hill yesterday, and he convinced me that he will become a 200 game player for us. He showed so much poise for someone playing in their first match, and his foot skills are first class. He will play senior footy for us this year. Thanks for pick 14 Collingwood, this guy is a star!

No probs. Thanks for Woey!
His 32 possesion, 2 goal and 10 marks Best-on-ground performance the other night went down nicely. ;)

We are all happy!
You did well to get Woey. But luckily we didn't waste our pick we got for him and drafted this gun!

Anyone can get easy kicks with nobody manning up. Lets see how he goes next week when WC put a tagger on him.

I hope they tag him. Which leaves open Bucks, Licuria, Burns etc. Or it is vice-versa and Woey has the freedom to destroy them, (like last Saturday night against the Crows)

It is all falling into plan. *Evil laugh*

And so forth...;)

Stiffy - care to elaborate on Belly from what you have seen?

BUMP!!

haha do you think there is still any hope for him to be a 200 gamer?

In fairness to Bell, he was on track to become a gun at one point, until the Johnson incident.

Obviously Collingwood were concerned as to whether or not they would win that trade, so they sent out a sniper to make sure things swung in their favour.

Although, I have to say this thread is rather humerous.

I haven't given up on Bell just yet. He is 24 now, granted he hasn't progressed as we would have liked. The thing with Bell is that he can play as the small defender and that is not a position where we have a whole lot of options. I would say that Cheney is the only young guy that can play that position long term as players like Bennell and Grimes will move into the midfield/be creative half back options.

If he can get his confidence back and break into the firsts he is every chance to get another season and then who knows. Don't give up guys he is a good kid and he works hard.

I would probably hold onto him, since we don't have a lot of mid-20's aged players, but who the hell knows, if Melbourne are going to do a massive cleanout at the end of this year I expect his name will be on the list.

I'm afraid to say that he is now a depth defence player... if we can make a trade for a second rounder would should otherwise hold onto him.

you liar!!!!

Delist. Easiest decision Dean Bailey will have to make.

When we're struggling to field a best 22, posters actually want to hold onto a depth player. just in case. hhaahhaahahahhahahahahahahahahhahahahahahaha.

Get rid of the list clogger.

We're better off delisting others who are over 27...Belly's only 23 and has talent, he was injured for the first 6 weeks and has had good form at Casey, just hasn't had the chance to show it at AFL level. We need to keep guys around the 23-25 yo mark at least for now, to at least have some strong bodies around to help the younger guys develop. I'm going to tip him having a very solid little 3-4 week period whilst Sylvia's out, has the potential...just needs to find that crucial confidence at the highest level.
