sigh..... with all the controversy of the week of the selwood case.... who would have thought it might be the daniel chick report that might kick our club in the nuts..... >,>;j

That lawyer really got us good..... why did daniel chick get the work experience guy?

Apparently chicky swore on the life of his daughter on channel ten that he was telling the truth...... which makes it even more farcical.... why even bring your daughter into it.....even if you're telling the truth.... >,<

He actually swore on the life on his son. Umm.....like chick, get your facts straight........

Maybe you can help us out midorigreenwood, with just how much preparation it does take to tell the truth? Des is apparently a complete headcase, yet he managed to stick to his story for at least 3 days running. .

Headland stick to his story? I thought he didn't make any public comment?

I've said over and over again..... I believe it was a misunderstanding....I've never called headland a headcase......even when everyone was calling selwood terrible names.

Memory is a funny thing....its entirely possible that both players believe they're telling is the truth. I remember watching a doco about how bad eyewitness testimony is in things like rape cases and how often the wrong person is convicted even if the victim got a good look at their attacker.

What is most telling is the sl%t part that Headland left out in his evidence to the AFL investigator. He was so pissed off..... anger and emotion could affect his memory.....especially stewing for 5 days. Selwood was attacked....emotion could affect his memory too..... with no evidence that he continued on with the sl3t slur after Headland told him that it was his daughter...I'm leaning to misunderstanding.

As for chicky.... I don't know what to think....his evidence to the tribunal was so flimsy that it is really hard to defend him......if he made it up he is a disgrace..... if he is telling the truth...he is an arrogant idiot for not taking the case seriously.

I'll leave it at that and wait to see if the AFL finds out anything new about it >,>
