Yes, but doubt we leave him out of the midfield completely even with Murray out. Butts, Keane, Worrell seem like the likely starting 3 talls down back, with Curtin rotating through there and wing/midfield. Hinge can also play tall too if required.

Needs to become a midfielder given we have probably given up any chance of drafting Draper. A 197cm, big bodied young midfielder will compliment Dawson, Pedlar, Soligo very nicely.

Curtin signed off on his draft year by helping Claremont to another WAFL Colts premiership. He was a significant presence in the midfield for the first three quarters, helping Claremont dominate in that area, before being dropped back into defense in the fourth to try and help stem the tide with Perth controlling territory. One knock on his performance for the day was his kicking efficiency which was uncharacteristically poor.

While they were able to snap up Curtin, the Crows did miss out on promising South Australian ruckman Taylor Goad with North Melbourne selecting him at No. 20, one pick before Adelaide’s second pick.
