Keays the player that kicked us the "winning goal" that sent us into the Finals for the first time since 2017, yes Curtin spending time and as a first contact would be the right move.

Keays passion, enthusiasm and love of the Club/team, is his best character traits.
And Keays' point indirectly meant that we had the currency to trade up for Curtin

Kids plays like Jordan Dawson. Really nice skills and decision making.

normally when vids are posted of 'elite kicking' there's just a bunch of kicks to contests and not much else. In a highlight video, it's generally very underwhelming. This kid's video is different, definitely looks and then hits targets.

Anyone seen Bontempelli crash a pack ....I wouldn't call Bont an aggressive bigman .....nor would I with May, who's better known for his positioning and reading of the play

Would you say Jeremy Cameron is an aggressive player ?

Give me a smart player, that utilizes his skills and POD

how many of those guys are coached by Matthew Nicks? My understanding is that Nicks has a couple of non-negotiables, physically influencing contests sits atop the list.

I think you mean physically attacking the contest, putting your size to work ....all the great players do that, Bont, May ect ....they attack the ball hard

I wouldn't say Aaron Naughton is a physical player .....but he aggressively fly's for Marks utilizing his 196cm frame ....but a rotten Ronnie Andrews he ain't

Yes, very intelligent footballer and person.

The groin injury which ruined his 2007 (and possibly any chance of going back to back) was apparently one of the catalysts for him going, the talk was he wasn’t happy with the way the injury was managed and how he was made to push through and keep playing whilst injured.

So many different stories and the like from that time. We were fortunate he chose Carlton and in their willingness to get him, gave away a commodity which was acceptable to us (Kennedy).
Unlike Dangerfield choosing that foul club and only wanting to go there 🤬

accepting a mid first and mid second for Danger was on Noble, Cats had a future first as well.

it's not enough to just be in the contest, you need to influence it. Naughton, even when not sticking the grab, has a strong influence on the contest.

Dan Curtin has taken jumper number 6

It's bad luck to be superstitious, but I was hoping we'd retire number 6. Perhaps the Keays point broke the curse, everything has gone well since then.
I think 6 will look good on the lad.

Curtin will be a gun. He's the chosen one.

Alternatively, by moving around alot, he may have learnt to not get connected with friends, and has formed a tighter bond with his family, would suggest homesick issues would be a greater problem here.
Usually when people move around a lot, the only constant is their family. Curtin is also our only player from WA.
