Kids plays like Jordan Dawson. Really nice skills and decision making.

normally when vids are posted of 'elite kicking' there's just a bunch of kicks to contests and not much else. In a highlight video, it's generally very underwhelming. This kid's video is different, definitely looks and then hits targets.

I think you mean physically attacking the contest, putting your size to work ....all the great players do that, Bont, May ect ....they attack the ball hard

I wouldn't say Aaron Naughton is a physical player .....but he aggressively fly's for Marks utilizing his 196cm frame ....but a rotten Ronnie Andrews he ain't

Yes, very intelligent footballer and person.

The groin injury which ruined his 2007 (and possibly any chance of going back to back) was apparently one of the catalysts for him going, the talk was he wasn’t happy with the way the injury was managed and how he was made to push through and keep playing whilst injured.

it's not enough to just be in the contest, you need to influence it. Naughton, even when not sticking the grab, has a strong influence on the contest.

Alternatively, by moving around alot, he may have learnt to not get connected with friends, and has formed a tighter bond with his family, would suggest homesick issues would be a greater problem here.

Usually when people move around a lot, the only constant is their family. Curtin is also our only player from WA.
