Daniel Harford has been appointed as coach of the carlton AFLW side. A former Carlton player himself (9 games) he has moved across from an assistant coaching position at Collingwood for their 2018 AFLW season.

Foxfooty.com.au can reveal the Blues will announce the appointment as early as Monday night, with Harford crossing from bitter rivals Collingwood, where he was an assistant to Wayne Siekman this year.

Harford replaces Damien Keeping, who was sacked after the club won just two games this season.
