Yeah, taken a year early - he was barely eligible and we got in early. One of Miller's best picks IMO.

He's not a good disposal of the ball.

He kicks 65m flat, hard drop punts - in your 'mind' that somehow equates to kicking like Wayne Campbell, who could barely kick 50m with a gale force wind behind him and even then it went as far upwards as it went long.

If anyone with an ounce of football brains had to pick the bloke in our side who kicked like Wayne Campbell the least, it would be Jackson.

Yet you come up with that gem.

We have way better in the team.

He's been clearly our best offensive mid this year AND shut down some very good players, which is the major part of his role. He could walk into any midfield in the comp on his current form.

I've never understood the perception that Daniel Jackson can't kick. He's a beautiful, long, kick of the football, and **** me does he kick it hard. I would be absolutely petrified standing forty metres away from him with a football in his hands. It would go straight through my chest.

As good as Jacko has been in recent weeks, it's been just that, a couple of weeks.
Let's see if he can sustain it - and by that I mean beyond this season.
From Steven "Bomber" James, Justin Plapp, Steven Jurica and Chris Pym to David Bourke, Dean Polo and Jake King, I've seen the emergence of Richmond's next big thing a hundred times over.
