rich is all left sided what happens when he goes onto his right and kicks it to fev you would find the result would not be the same

Daniel Rich Emma Quayle.
Emma Quayle said:
FROM
Subiaco, Western Australia. Has spent the past two years in the senior WAFL side, winning premierships in both seasons. He played his junior footy at Sorrento Duncraig Junior Football Club.

THE NUMBERS
Born July 7, 1990; 183 centimetres; 83 kilograms.

THE LOWDOWN
A true midfielder, Rich will go in and get the ball without fear, but can also finish things off beautifully when he has the ball in his hands. His long, left-foot kick is among the best this draft has to offer. He might not have the same athletic scope as someone such as Stephen Hill, but lock him in to play a lot of football at a very high level.

RUNNING AND JUMPING
Rich wasn’t able to do most of the draft camp testing due to a sore hamstring after the WAFL grand final. He had a shot at the repeat speed test, though, before pulling up sore, notching 26.48 seconds (the test is
six lots of 30-metre sprints in 20-second cycles — if you run it in three seconds, you get a 17-second rest before having to turn around and do it again). His time was only a smidgen over the average.

WHERE WILL HE END UP?
West Coast is a rough chance to pick him, but the Eagles seem more sure to go with either Nick Naitanui or Jack Watts — whichever player Melbourne doesn’t take. Fremantle will think hard about him, and if it passes then either Port Adelaide, Essendon or (most particularly) Carlton may find him irresistible. There’s a chance, though, that he could be the draft’s big slider and get as far as the Brisbane Lions at No. 7. If so, think about him for next year’s Rising Star award — the past two winners, Joel
Selwood and Rhys Palmer, were picked with the same choice.

SLIGHTLY IRRELEVANT YET INTERESTING FACT
Rich had the smallest hand span measured at the draft camp — 19.2 centimetres. He also had the shortest arms of all players tested at the camp
and state screening sessions — 76.1. He has been an Eagles member for many years and will have to hand over his reserved seat if he ends up elsewhere.

IF HE WAS A BISCUIT HE’D BE
A Barbeque Shape. Small but substantial, with a nice kick.
I don't know about you, but i'm sold. :D

Love your work Emma.

Emma had a small write up on Ziebell in today's Age.

Tomorrow is Hamstri.., I mean Hamish Hartlett.

Rich might be our first rising star winner if we draft him.

There's plenty of time left for another player to be a candidate for our pick. ;)

All of this draft talk is beginning to make me feel like someone forced to play Russian roulette in the Deer Hunter.

And the AFL are yelling take a pick at you in Vietnamese without the option of extra time because they have to go to an ad break.

It's doing my head in.

These guys are funny guys

I am forced to put an end to it/him ;)

All can win contested footy and all are good on the end of a handball too. If we draft Rich I know who Fev would prefer on the end of a handball kicking the pill to him.

If we draft Yarran Fev can look forward to watching the ball go over his head and throught the big sticks. The boy is a freak show. We definately need another dangerous forward who is also capable of going in to the midfield. We only have Betts as a crumbing forward at present. I think Yarran could provide that X factor that we need. Geelong and Hawthorn have more than 1 small dangerous forward I think it's time we invested in one.

Gibbs has a left foot too........he uses it to stand on when he kicks with his right.

Dual sidedness is great but not the be all and end all.

I know my opinion doesn't count for much, but if the rumours are true, Essendon will go for Ziebell. But that would be before they took into account that Rich may still be there. If Rich is at Bomber's pick they would more than liekly pick him, therefore leaving you with the more likely scenario of having to pick between Ziebell and Hurley...

essendon are going to take yarran, hill or maybe hurley trust me

If you believe the rumours, the draft could do something like this:

#1 Melbourne Jack Watts
#2 West Coast Nick Naitanui
#3 Fremantle Stephen Hill
#4 Fremantle Tyrone Vickery
#5 Essendon Chris Yarran
#6 Carlton Daniel Rich, Michael Hurley, Jack Ziebell

I'd still take Ziebell over him. I think the main reason he's mentioned in the supposed "Big 3" is that two of the top picks are WA teams.

Agreed. ;)

To be perfectly honest I don't think you'd know :)

I find it pretty entertaining seeing people say they know what will happen. "Oh if so and so is available i guarantee this team will take him" or "this team is interested in so and so", seriously, who are you kidding

Some of the **** on the Draft and Trading board is really starting to get to me, i really can't wait 8 or so days for this to end. No one knows anything, why would any recruiters reveal their information to some random fella?

Good, got that off my chest :p
