I've been reliably informed that he was atrocious yesterday. Can anyone confirm?
I'm getting on him for the Brownlow. As I've been relaibly informed that a 5 contested mark, 19 contested possession, 13 hit out to advantage game is diabolically bad for his normal expectations.

There are many among us who are too willing to put a gloss on things which just shouldn't be glossed.

But Cousin of Daicos will tell it like it is and confirm that Darcy Cameron had a sub-standard game because he didn't take the opportunity to singlehandedly pull us over the line.

Gawn would've nailed it.

I think Cameron had a great game, but I'm just easily pleased.

What a giant he has been.
And think all we had to do is swap pick 56 for 62. That has to be one of the best trades the club has ever done.

He was much maligned in his first couple of years and I will admit that I thought his ceiling was relatively low back then. He has exceeded all my expectations.

Was that really the trade? That is outstanding.

Yep, I think it's fair to say that he has probably exceeded everyone's expectations.

Sydney has received pick No.56 in return for trading Cameron and pick No.62 to Collingwood.

If he’s looking for a pay day then it’s not for us..
Not that he hasn’t been awesome but he will turn 30 this year.
We don’t want to invest more resources here unnecessarily outside of what we think is reasonable.

But he deserves more than 400k at least. Surely we can offer up to 600k.

Going by this thats exactly what is happening. DC's management and the club are negotiating a beef up his contract for the seasons ahead. As long as that gets done, seems like it'll stem rivals from trying to poach him

He doesn't have the wear & tear of a normal 30 year-old given his late start to his career, and he has improved every single season with us. One of the premier ruckmen in the competition now. Witts, Gawn, Goldstein, Nank, Grundy and the like have all rucked effectively into their 30s too.

Some of the best rucks are on 1mil or close to. He’s an AA quality ruckman. Irreplaceable in our team. He’d want and deserve 800k. Already playing well again. Not to many rucks with his marking ability. Sydney’s ruckman def isn’t as good aerially 😂

There are a few better around stoppage, but he and Gawn are miles above the rest in terms of their aerial games and what it gives to their defence.
