Stratton wore him like a glove. It will happen more often now. But he will learn to deal with it in time.

Darcy had a crack. One or two of his courageous efforts actually set up goals...and he probably should've had another goal assist but was a bit rushed on that handball to crisp. Had a shot on goal as well.

So it was not a disaster game by any means.

But he is not ready. Really was just minding a spot for Grundy next week.

The good news is that he won't have to play in many games that are tougher than that in his career. The Hawks are one the greatest sides of the modern era and still my favourite for the flag.

He has at least played the best and he showed promise.

However, he had also played a lot of his early footy in defence, so I think it's time to leave him up forward at vfl level and let his learn his craft. There should be another opportunity this year if he shows some consistent form, but it was never about this year for Darcy. Plus he had no pre season and did his hammy early...so he has so much upside
 
He got a taste of AFL, which will be of enormous benefit to him, now needs to go back and work on things and get ready for his next crack

Moore was not ready to play the Top Teams but We don’t know IF he ready for AFL against non-top sides. So you can’t be 100% Sure on that Statement

The Rushed Effort showed that he is not up to pace with AFL Footy which is no Surprise at all. Get that with Experience.

I agree hope in the VFL he stays up Forward and does not go back again. As he played Down Back early means he not got the Feel as a Forward quite yet after 1 and Half Games at VFL Level

Hopefully a Full Pre - Season and Train as a Forward will make him pushing White for that 2nd Tall KPP spot in 2016

I think if you want Moore to become a 2nd tall which would be a big role for him he'd need to play a few more games. With White not contributing too much (mainly with missed kicks) it would be good to see Moore have a run as a third tall (assuming Grundy will play) while White can get confidence in the VFL for a week or two.
 
Was it me or did Darcy seem to be getting into the game during the third quarter? I think they took the wrong bloke off at 3/4 time, he was just getting a taste for it.

I did feel that too. He took a Mark and could of Taken a Few IF Fas did not get in his way.

I was very Surprised he was Subbed
 
Trying Hard but this Year he should just play in the VFL and Hopefully play some Footy at VFL Level. Have a Big Pre-Season and Hopefully can build his Body up more.

I have not Given up on Him at all yet

Agree - He needs to settle in 1 Spot so he knows what he has to do and not change what he has to do
 
He's far more effective as a defender at the moment, but he's just not up with the tempo of the game yet
 
You are better off with a player who can play one role exceptional well opposed to one player who plays a number of roles to an average standard

I don't like his habit of running and jumping into the player trying to tackle him... does it every time instead of looking for a target to kick to..

Needs to develop in the VFL

I think he tries to get his Hands Up and get a Handball Off.

Yeah I do agree back to the VFL.

Lot of Potential and big improvement in him

There's no point getting very one-eyed then getting bad tempered when someone else has a different perspective.

So then why did Buckley at him against top sides when a top 5 spot was up for grabs ?? If you can see that Moores not ready why can't Buckley see this and his on millions
