Guys I have this bloke in my dream teams so I watch him a bit he looked like he was just strolling around today. Very unintrested
I would think his best footy is down back off a flank setting up play but today he seemed to be playing a wing. Is it him or is Harvey playing him out of position.

Lot of people are pretty down on Mundy cos of his perceived softness. There's plenty of discussion about him - try doing a search, I imagine you'll learn everything you need to know. :)

mundy was good today

interesting that he was given a tagging job

kept tyson edwards out of the game

Mundy was in at a lot of the centre setups. Did some nice work with his hands getting the ball out which showed another side to his game. Not his best work today but certainly not poor either.

To answer the original poster I think he was rotating on the ball, to the wing and seemed to play a bit off half back. Perhaps doesn't run hard enough to be a true winger and seems to to best off half back as loose man setting up play.

Well im not talking about dream team am I.

But thanks E Shed good to see someone has some brains and had something to contribute

did you miss my friendly smile and the suggestion to try the search function for info on Mundy. I was being genuine, now you're just being rude.

Perhaps you shouldn't write that then:rolleyes:

It wasn't his best game today but I hope everyone noticed how he backed back into that contest in the first quarter and got cleaned up.

Though I'm sure some people will still find a way to turn that into him squibbing it. Maybe because he didn't take the mark? Or because he got hit by his own teammate instead of the opposition?

For some reason certain so called experts on courage and commitment need a scapegoat to hide their own feeble insecurities and Mundy has replaced Des as the annointed sacrifice. These so called experts are **nkers of the highest order

This was not a game from which to bag Mundy. If you want to bag him, go back in time and spew about his game against Richmond or Hawthorn for that matter.

He was decent today, not fantastic but as some have stated he was playing a different role and showed that he can actually play in the guts. We've lacked clean hands at the centre bounces forever and Mundy is someone who has one-grab possession and handball in tight spaces. He did well in there today and showed he can also perform a decent tag if the player he's tagging suits his one-pace style.

The only question is, why did we play 4 taggers today and still allow McLeod to get 34 touches?

McManus was manning McLeod, Crowley was tagging Thompson, Mundy was tagging Edwards and Matt Carr must have been tagging someone or why else was he playing?

Back on topic, if Mundy can perform a role like that each week he deserves his spot over guys like Schammer whose skills are very poor and can't stay on his feet in a contest anyway.

Mundy was much better today than his previous outings this year. That said, still got a looooong way to go.
