Warner isn't the greatest player of spin which is another reason why opening is his preferred position. It will be interesting to see how he goes in India.

Same, but Warners just ahead in selectors minds imo, because of the 'wow' factor he brings. Whether that be worthy of selection or not in a test, I'm confident they want to keep him in to attract the crowds to tests.

From what I've seen of Hughes, he looks more convincing against spin than Warner.

Haha, point taken, I'm not saying it's the only reason, but if its a dead heat between the two to be dropped (some time down the track), I feel Warner would keep his spot due to this factor.
