David Warner

Does it matter what was said? Everyone has different ‘lines’ so the only thing we can go on is Warner’s line, and his line in the past has been

Do you think David Warner is the victim here?

PS thanks, Disintergration not degredation, got it now. Then again isn’t degradation the wearing down of something through disintergration? So pretty close.

No, Warner isn’t a victim, but I think De Kock’s behaviour and the crap that went on with the masks (his wife was at the ground) was as bad as anything our players had ever done. I don’t think it’s excusable but because it was Warner it was passed over.

Incorrectly the media thought because it was Hughes brother, must have something to do his death
Funny how quick 9 news media were able to get Candice in the studio ( now must have big egg on there face )Candice ( nice youtube )
Is lookin after " brand Davy"

I wouldn't be shocked if Candice actually asked channel 9 if she could go on TV to talk about what happened yesterday.

Hughes has lost his brother and can say what he wants to that fu%kwit. Sledging is part of the game, sandpaper is not
No matter who it is said to, the "line" shouldn't change. Hughes is in a (thankfully) very rare predicament. If that is what was said, then it is over-stepping the mark IMO. But who knows how the situation hits him.

If it was just that Warner is a "disgrace", that would be quite accurate based on Warner's public persona. A cheat, a thug, and regularly abusive. If he couldn't bat, he'd still be at Woolies or maybe serving time.

fairfax just reported the folowing said , pretty weak Warner

Fairfax Media understands Hughes said to Warner, "You're a disgrace, you shouldn't be playing cricket." It's believed the comments were in relation to the ball tampering incident in South Africa for which Warner copped a 12-month ban from playing for his country after being found by Cricket Australia to have been the architect of the plan. He can, however, still play in grade cricket and in domestic Twenty20 leagues around the world.
Goodness, that's barely a sledge, rather it could be construed as feedback to Warner regarding how much of the Australian cricketing public regards him.

So Dave sends his wife out on national television to concoct a narrative that it was 'abusive' when the sledge in question couldn't be more mild and inoffensive. I guess the truth does hurt at times.
If that was all it was,why did the opposing team ask him to come back and continue his innings? It does not make any sense that a player who has played 74 tests and would have copped much worse sledges than that, would walk off in a club game after being called a disgrace. I have no doubt more was said to him than that.

Yes, something doesn't ring true here.....

They thought if they were nice they could get a few OLED each

facebook post Western suburbs CC

28th October 2018

The Western Suburbs District Cricket Club is disappointed with media accusations made concerning an incident at Pratten Park on Saturday between our player Jason Hughes and Randwick Petersham player David Warner.

It is important to note:
• There was no barrage of sledges aimed at David Warner by any WSDCC player.

• There was a brief exchange between Jason Hughes and David Warner. This exchange had nothing to do with Phil Hughes. This exchange was not vicious or abusive as alleged in some sections of the media.

• David Warner elected to leave the field following a discussion with the umpires

• Shortly after leaving the field David Warner returned and resumed his innings.

• Neither presiding umpire discussed David Warner’s return to the crease with WSDCC captain, Jonathan Cook.

• The umpires made no reports concerning any aspect of player behavior

• The WSDCC believes it has maintained integrity at all times and is fully supportive of Jason Hughes and all our players.

WSDCC will be making no further comment.

Yes the masks were a disgrace but you can’t blame the SA cricketers for what the crowd and some SA admin employees did.
But regarding the incident, yet again our holier-than-thou attitude showed through. Go and read what a Smith and Paine said about that day. Yet again we, as in Australia, took no blame and said everyone else went over ‘the line’ that seems that only the Australian team is allowed to set and that Warner did nothing wrong...... yet again it’s all OK for Warner to sledge de Kok for an hour and sledge De Koks sister but as soon as Warner got it back we some how decide where the ‘line’ is.... really, spare me.

Can't this midget just stick to Big Bash and never play for Australia again.

Now that it looks like we know what was said out there, Warner should be embarrassed of himself. And the fact his wife went on national television to talk about it makes me cringe.

I'm really not sure what he would expect to get out of walking off? All it has done is put him in the newspaper for the wrong reasons once again.

attention

If what is being reported is true, Warner has just announced to the world what a weak turd he is

To dish out shit your whole career and then cop something that is cricket specific and probably pretty fair - and then dummy spit..

Wow - soft ****
