Dear Santa,
How's it going? It's been a year since we last spoke. Hope the weathers been kind up there.
So it's that time of year again, the time of the year that i get to talk to you about what i would like for Christmas.
At different times of the past year i have decided on a gift only to change my mind a little later. In September i thought i wanted Ben Cousins, but then realised that it might be a better option that my uglier, fatter and dumber little cousin (Richmond) gets him instead.
So since September i've been given gifts and got things for myself like Corrie, L.Brown and some new models like Sidebottom, Beams, Blight and Rounds. Hopefully i get good use of these presents in 2009. i reckon i can implement these new toys into my existing collection with great success.
In december (rookie draft) i was given afew more gifts but i reckon i'll keep them in their packaging for now, but hopefully at one stage in the next few years they will get some playtime too.
i was also given a new captain in december so i was going to have that on the list, but i have one now so it's no longer required on the list.
so now with my toy collection full for the next year i have been thinking about what i want for christmas most. i've prepared a list for you (in order), i dont need anymore toys, im now after more celebratory gifts that i can share with everyone.
* to beat carlton on both may 17 and july 24th
* to beat essendon on both april 25 and july 3rd
* to finish home and away in top 4
* to win a premiership in 2009
* my ugly cousins (Carlton, Richmond and Essendon) all fail dismally
ok Santa, i believe i've been a good boy. i'm really sorry about some little incidents during 2008 season, most of them were out of my control. i'm not that bad at all, in fact i was still in the top bracket from the class of 08' and am really keen to push for higher honours in 2009. i know i can do you and the rest of the supporter group proud. i just need you to do what you can with my list. every little bit helps santa.
ok Santa, thanks again for taking the time to read my letter, i will leave cookies and milk for you in the foyer at the Lexus Centre in one of the empty trophy cabinets....it's the cabinet on the left that says "premiers 2009"...oh by the way thats where you can leave the presents for me!
