So I think everyone takes it as a given that Fish, Tiller and CJ are gone. I take back the earlier reference to TBird (since been disabused of that). Contract only thing that saved him. Interesting that previous poster says Browne is gone. I think it's right but haven't heard it for sure. I'm actually more convinced that Ando's gone and ROK may be too depending on how many picks they want. (look for both to get another chance as rookies later).

remember browne's first game, was pretty good. not sure he kicked on though. did think he could have been a candidate for that inside mid we seem to be desperate for but one or two squibbs and soft efforts doesn't do your cause well.

thanks browney (retrospectively) for knocking the shit out of porps ahead of last trade week ;)

Of the three:

Johnson is currently the better player, definitely more skilled and this year showed he was willing to gain some much needed aggression. .. At his age there is also still room for more improvement. ..

Joey had good potential, possibly the most potential but I just don't feel good about him. .. I cannot put a finger on it. ..

Browne seems to be the most lacking but for some reason I like the way he goes about it and feel he just needs more game time to find his game. ..

All three could probably play Fwd, Mid and Def but are better suited to one. .. The problem is we seem to have depth in all the positions they would likely fill. ..

My preference, if they were to be delisted would be Anderson then Browne then Johnson. .. Seems that is the opposite to the majority here though. ..

Its kind of a shame that someone like Austin who has shown way less has the potential to fill a position we are lacking in, as I don't think I would be as sorry to see him gone instead of one of these three. ..

Is Josh Donaldson the young ranga fella?

If so - that's a little surprising - watched him over here in a pre-season game at the start of the year and commented on this board he looked like a good (but raw) young-un
Yeah, he had his year ruined by injury and didn't go all that well in the games he did play in sadly. Was always a project player though, if he doesn't get picked up by a club this year he may well bob up again in a few years.

West Perth will be happy with a few of the delistings over the the last few days. Donaldson, Browne and Wade Skipper are all west perth boys

Pity about Johnson. Thought he might get another chance. Oh well.

All the best to all of them, in what ever they choose to do. :thumbsu::)

Not sure if it has been mentioned, but Richmond would be much better suited going for Fisher over Miller, if the reports are correct there. The Browne one suprised me also, looked alright early on.

Bit gutted about Anderson and Johnson getting chopped... hope another club picks them up (probably GWS).

Fisher was always in the firing line to get delisted this year even before he did his knee. Thanks for all the service there mate, good luck with the future.

Browne is a bit rough to get cut, but he was the low man on the pole so he had to go first.

Donaldson, as has been mentioned, was a project player. I hope he drops back into the VFL and kills it for a couple of years there, then pops back up as a mature aged recruit.

Tiller I feel sorry for. Hope he gets picked up by someone else and makes a go of it.

Good to see that ROK is going to be rookied by us next year. I reckon one more year on the rookie list and he will be ready to start pushing for a slot.

Congratulations to Garlett, White and especially Ellard for their promotions to the senior list. I had a feeling that White had shown enough in the few games he played before his injury to warrant his promotion and Garlett was the rising star of the year as far as I am concerned... he really killed it, especially in the latter part of the year. Ellard really showed why we persisted in him over the years since he was recruited in the games he had in the latter half of the year and I am happy that he will get the chance to shine next year.

I'm a bit sad to see a couple of the guys leaving, but in the end it's a good package of retirees and delistings to help drive us forward.

P.S. I wonder if the club is planning on picking up Fish as a mature aged rookie on a 1 year contract to give him his 100th game for us.

man full credit has to be given to Ellard for battling his way through to earning a place on the primary list. let's face it, he wasn't going to make it, but due to perserverance and commitment he's earnt his spot. very happy for him. if everybody in the side had his attitude we'd be premiers. i had given up on him this time last year, hopefully he absolutely kills it next year.

i didn't think anderson ever looked like making it to be honest. just couldn't see what value he'd have to the team. will always remember him though for that courageous moment in the dying seconds of the brisbane game where he cut off J. Brown's path

Joe Anderson....???? Help me out here , thought this kid showed a bit and is only 21.....am i missing something...?

Yeah I thought the same thing about Gary Moss...

I'm thinking there will be a major swoop on mature age recruits after making a lot of room on our respective lists.

Spot the difference.
