Final score - James Frawley d. Nathan Jones 35-12

Jones' admirable polling in the BigFooty booths didn't carry onto Twitter and he was swept away in a tide of support for Chip.

Frawley now goes into Round 1 riding a wave of public support. Congratulations on being the first official People's Champion.

Happy with that result, even though I voted for Jones... Chip is just a gun.

Would love to hear his acceptance speech... no doubt he would be a bumbling mess, he always is when in front of a camera.

Does that mean someone could vote for CHip here then go onto twitter & vote again for him?

Recount!

If they could be bothered having multiple nicknames then they could do whatever they pleased!

IT WAS RIGGED!!

Nawww, definitely a deserving winner!

I think the reason why twitter users voted against Jones is that they have followed him for some time and been subjected to countless "CAUGHT SUM TUBES N RAYZ 2DAY!1!!" and "Jst had a prma wit da boiz, rockin'!!" tweets/twats.

He surprised me when talking about Jimmy. No stumbling or "ya know". Did himself proud the big fella. In fact it was the first time I saw a bit of captain in him, off-field.

Yeah Garland was the same, he was up and about considering the circumstances... didn't look stoned for once, and spoke with passion and enthusiasm. I guess that's what a great man like Jim does to people...

except for on-field. :S

B-B-BUMP

I am bored at work and going to give myself a pat on the head and say I told you so. Although it's not great for the club that Jones is our best player by streets...
