Found out one of my mates is buying an xbox one and upgrading his destiny pre-order from the 360 version.

I'll enjoy this a lot more now I'll have someone to play with.

Just pre-order from Dick Smiths before the game comes out and get it for $60. Its the Vanguard edition too.

Im in the camp where the hype has turned the game it to a wait a few weeks for the bugs to get fixed before i buy the Alpha and Beta didnt make me want it more, although i didnt play much of either. But all the DLC and shit just makes me want it less i CBF paying for every thing to get a "Full game experience" So i doubt i will get it next week

I think the last 5 years the video game industry has murdered the idea of additional content. It used to be the case that you bought a game, lets for example use Diablo 2 which was a full game, you then paid for additional content called expansions. These were worthy purchases and extended the content available in game.Wow is another good example with expansions offering new content with the subscription paying for content and support between these expansions.
This whole DLC and pay an extra $15 for some weapon skins and a multiplayer map has ruined the industry, now everyone is scared off whenever content is announced ahead of time.

I can see both sides, but by the sounds of things they want Destiny to have additonal content provided after. From everything we have heard these will be more in line with the old school expansions and not crappy DLC. Will be interesting whether the gaming community can learn to trust companies again.
