Got a radiant energy from the postmaster for doing a public event, nice.

Motes of light/strange coins are cool too but a chance of some extra shards/energy daily will make public event farming even more worth it.

hmm, not sure wtf is going on. When did you do the event? I thought there was a bug they fixed

If you have old public event postmaster packages, they will award radiant materials. New packages will properly award ascendant materials.

Yep got a new one just then & it's back to awarding ascendant shards... FFS I don't need old shards anymore, just make it motes of light or strange coins if they can't be assed offering radiant materials.

Awarding Radiant materials will be their ace in the hole, it'll bring players back to the grind when they eventually introduce them dropping from Dailies, events etc.

Yeah xp is good, if only you could trade shards for energy though because right now I've got 300 shards across 3 characters that aren't of use to me at all whereas I could do with a bit more energy.

They should've just left the motes of light & strange coins at least they're useful.

How much exp do you get from public events?

5000 from the first one you do every day and get the parcel for.

So, don't forget to equip the weapons and/or armour you need to upgrade before accepting delivery!

The buggy hive perk on the black hammer is missing but it still indicates I haven't finished upgrading it fully which is strange.

p.s Vools that's the one gun you should spend your energy on getting to 331 lol, it's so good.

Warlock needs chest piece and a boat load of shards which now the other two are finished shouldn't take too much longer (excess gear being sharded + drops) as long as I get that chest piece.

Should I upgrade the raid fusion rifle and/or machine gun for arc burn or save my energy?

I have 331 plan c and 331 arc rockets so i feel it's probably better to use them and save energy for HM weaps
