Fully upgraded hand of crota is quite decent.
Enjoying the scout rifle too!

Our team is really struggling on Hard mode Crota. No titans and 3 31s has made it bloody difficult.
Also struggling for motivation as the only weapon i really want now is Blackhammer which you cant get on Hard mode so ive been told. Also find the new raid weapons arent anything compared to the VOG ones, which is dissapointing. All ive got out of the primaries is 3 pulse rifles.

HM Crota requires a consistent team of 6 (can possibly have one random as DPS) who know their roles.
Minimum one Titan (bubble useful for drawing fire from Boomers, killing adds at the start without losing health, and when taking on ogres).
Will say that once your group has downed him once (timing the swords, knowing when he enrages etc etc), the next few downs are significantly easier.
 
Before anyone asks: We know you want more room in your Vaults for your favorite weapons. We know how much you want it. We want that for you. It's a think we're talking about. New game features take time to build. Hang in there, and hope for the future.

Atleast they're listening. I always thought extended vault would take time - making the code right free of bugs etc. As long as it's coming!

So over the last couple of weeks, I've spoken to a number of you about some sort of AFL Fantasy league for us BigFooty Destiny players. Seems the consensus was for it to be on Supercoach. I've never done Supercoach before, but I've signed up and created a 'Destiny BigFooty' league. If you'd like to join the fun and banter, the league code is: 510005

Should be fun! I fully expect my backside to be handed to me in this league, especially if some of you are as good as you brag :p:p:D

EDIT: I've just thrown together a team - I'm not happy with it - I'll spend the next 62 days, 9 hours and 24 miniutes tinkering with it. :)

I don't think they plan on turning golf scoring on.

We're on the up this year. I'm expecting 22 100+ games from boyd because we spent lots of money on him.

In all seriousness though, can we not allow Spudregus_87 to be in it? His avatar is literally 'Super coach Elite'. How can we compete with someone like that? :p*

What are the differences in point scoring?

Dreamteam all the scoring is set, x amount of points for a kick, y amount of points for a handball, etc.

Supercoach is a much more complex formula, it takes efficiency into its calculations. If the player hits the target they get points, if they miss they tend to get nothing and if they turn it over they get penalised. Other metrics also include contested ball appears to be weighted more heavily than uncontested and you get more points for intercepting a mark than taking one out on a lead.

They also add weighting that rewards impact on the game itself, you get extra points for pivotal plays that help decide matches. The most obvious example is kicking the winning goal. But if say a team blows out another in the first quarter, that quarter will be weighted higher than the rest of the game because it is already over. Whereas DT rewards junk time regardless of situation.

Different people prefer different systems, it isn't that hard to adapt because the same principles apply as DT. Except that a good player is more likely to be viable in SC whereas role can dictate great DT scorers. In SC Ablett has been king for about 6-7 years now by a decent distance most years. Whereas your Boyd/Swan types could be comparable and in Swan's case be better in DT.
