Was saying to sledge that I pretty much only play this game for PVP now, POE does nothing for me. I still run VOG and Crota for that illusive Ghorn though.

If you're capable of hitting 0.5 KD then you're capable of getting Thorn. If your K/D is 0.5 I'd say that you're not remotely good at the game.

Which is why I find it laughable when I'm playing Rumble and you find people grinding/farming/cheating the bounty. It's just easy kills and I'll make it my mission to ruin their day.
What about the noobs that do it during IB?

I wish I'd been more switched on and signed up for the Alpha. For some reason I thought it was only for people who had preordered the game.

I'm still on the fence about whether I buy this.

I recommend you buy it. It's a solid game. I don't know why my font has gone italic.

Made by yours truly. <3

So? Why'd you tag me for this? Even I've killed them plenty of times

His shield was nearly down, which means you had help. My point was that it's impossible to do anything about a Blade Dancer super (or any other super) by yourself when they cannot be one hit killed.

For every instance like this, there's another where the Blade Dancer gets about 4-5 kills in 3 seconds.

One Ldr (or similar damage sniper) round to the face will take one out.

I haven't even bothered trying to hit one, let alone headshot one with a sniper, because the degree of difficulty would be about 600 times harder.

With every other gun you cannot one-hit kill them if they're at full health/shield.
High impact shotgun blast and melee will do it too.
If you don't kill them with the first hit (shotgun), you're dead. They attack significantly faster than your melee.

I'm sorry but nearly every single one of your complaints in this thread boils down to simply not being good enough to kill them. If you cant take them and cant do the damage required run away.

Practice taking them on with a shotgun. If they have any damage at all a direct hit with a shotgun will kill them. You just need to get better at the game.

Woo! Level 5 IB on all chars.

Beginning to really enjoy my warlock for crucible. Can't believe I didn't use him sooner! Just got unbroken using him.

warlock is by far my most favourite PvP toon. That melee is ridiculous, and both classes are very viable, with effective, ranged supers, and with Ram they are tougher than Titans. Otherwise you can use Nothing Manacles and have two insane grenades at any one time.

I always love slipping back into my Warlock on PvP

Nice work. Ive mained Warlock the whole time and have only recently jumped on to playing a Hunter a majority of the time in PvP. A mate of mine has just rolled a warlock, he is a completely different player now. The warlock grenades are just so powerful in the crucible, and the melee as well

I don't really understand. Isn't that the whole point of a super, that if you pop it at the right time you are guaranteed of winning the encounter? And don' you also have the exact same capacity on whatever class you play, if you manage it properly?

I'm guessing your gloves/helmet don't have the fast melee attack perk?

If you see them coming a flush shotgun shot & melee will shutdown a full armored bladedancer if you hit him, at times you'll get killed at the same time but at least you stop a string of kills.

If people are interested. Inteview with Luke Timmins talking about whats coming. I must admit I couldnt help but smile, the guy is super excited about the game. Its good to see someone who cares about their work.

Again, I've killed them plenty of times. I'm just calling your bullshit when you say killing them at full health/shield without help is a simple task.

I'm also not asking for advice and never did. I'm saying Supers suck and make pvp a less satisfying experience. Comprehension difficulties?

Bolded part is absolutely incorrect. Golden Gun has far better killing potential than every other super in the game, especially Sun Slinger and Defender. Sun Slingers get destroyed by every single super in the game bar Defender.

Also, they require very little skill to use, which diminishes the potential for competitive play.

I do have it, Blade Dancers still kill you in half the time it takes you to shoot a shotgun and do a fast melee. To get a clean shotgun hit in the first place, you need to be within close range, and you could just as easily get one hit killed before shooting, let alone shooting and meleeing.

Even landing a shot on them is easier said than done when they're constantly jerking from left to right with their attack. Hitting a stationary one (like in the above video) is a much simpler task than one making constant split second movements.

See that 1 kill, 1 headshot. I can die happy now. (Took me forever to get that 1 kill then changed to Thorn and all was right with the world)

How anyone can be remotely accurate with that gun I'll never know.

Sometimes I have days where I can land headshots, other days I struggle to hit even a body shot. I love the concept of the gun but the iron sights are just so bad.
If your after a bit of fun in a similar vein to the NLB try Queenbreakers bow. Good fun, and has a ridiculous amount of AA that helps it.

ill kinda have to agree with seawind here about supers. supers are kind of a joke in crucible. the feeling of 'there is nothing i could've done about that' *(aka death from a super) is the worst feeling and is a major indictment on destiny's pvp.
*as in literally nothing could have been done.

if it was up to me i would take supers out of all serious pvp(control, clash, elimination, etc.) and keep it for casual gametypes. (the upcoming mayhem mode looks fun.)
