With 8 senior players out & 3 in we still must add at least 3 more players to bring our senior list to 38 (including Frost upgrade).
If we draft with picks 27 & 66 (use 77 to upgrade Frost).
We can add a Delisted Free Agent.
Who?
Grant, Adcock, Stokes, Kelly, Jamar, Dempsey, Pears.
I like Grant or Adcock.

I have to say, I was hoping we'd go for Jack Fitzpatrick but unfortunately Hawks got there first anyway. He could be a decent replacement for David Whale.
Other than that I wouldn't mind us picking up that Matthew Watson kid from Carlton in the rookie draft, I thought he never got a decent run at it. Stokes could do well at a team closer to a premiership, Freo should have a good look at him.

I reckon we will only be using 2 draft picks, upgrading Frost and leaving 2 spots free to upgrade rookies if necessary. I reckon we'll rookie a couple of early 20s state leaguers.

Id definitely take Pears and Adcock.

I think a change of environment in a backline with premiership players could really help Pears get back to what he promised earlier in his career.

Adcock would at the least be very handy depth and able to slot in and do a job for us if required. Pears has had a few injuries but hasn't lived up to his early potential, get him right with a change of environment he could be a worthwhile punt.

If you are talking about potentially the last/second last players on your list, you could do a lot worse.

I would actually pickup Adcock and let him know that it would be mainly for a leadership role in the VFL and would only be required in the senior side in the case of injuries etc

If he was ok with that then I see it as a good idea
