We seen the cats lose to CARLTON by using there Quick Small Aboriginal boys and the Cats really Struggles to Combat the Speed.

So Dick could come in to use his Speed and That great Kick he has. Also Barham could come in and use his speed but I am not 100% sold yet on his Disposal and we don't want Turnovers vs the Cats

No way on earth, if you watched the game he was clearly cautious with his shoulder. im not sure if there is a problem with it or whether its a psychological thing. He needs to play freely without inhibition, especially against the cats

Agree but I am just want to attack the Cats weak spot - I say it be Psychological thing as he is just back from the injury

patience is the key with dick. At least in my eyes 4 weeks away from being considered. He needs to regain strength, fitness and confidence. Then he might run into some form before Big M starts to take notice. We will exploit the Cats weaknesses by using our strengths. Scarlet can't take 14 goal scorers

I predict he'll be back in for the Dess game.

Cats, Lions & Dogs are misses for him. The Dees are a little smaller & younger and will get a few games after that where he can find his feet again at AFL level.

Dave did you actually watch the VFL? Dick was ordinary at best. Needs some serious match time before he'd even enter into consideration for senior footy, regardless of the oposition.

Barham was only marginally better. Flashed in and out a little more.

Neither have earnt a senior game based on their efforts against Frankston.

We should also give a little credit to our current team in the fast footy stakes. Were too quick for Freo despite the fact that they dropped a tall to include an additional pacey small.

Use the ball well and move it quickly and you'll always look fast.

Actually in Dave's defence, I just realised he said Cats Games. Dick should be right for round 19, and again in finals.

Went down to Frangers on Saturday to see the VFL. Dick was involved in a couple of good passages early on but none of his magic from last year just yet. Give him at least another 3 to 4 weeks. I don't think we'll see him before the Sydney game.

Not sure if that many of you have noticed, but 6 out of 8 games this year, we've played the way we played against Geelong in Round 9 2008.

If we play keep playing that way, then we're a chance. Strange it's Round 9 again though. Or was it Round 8 in 2008?

Problem was, in 08, we obviously couldn't maintian that level of hard tackling for a whole year. We seem to be able to this year.

Yeah from playing Frankston (who didn't kick a goal in the entire first half) to Geelong who has smashed sides for the last 3.5yrs. Lock him in Eddie!

Wouldn't surprise me of some changes this week though. Barham might be in for speed and tackles replacing Macaffer. Tarks might replace Cheesy. Josh might replace Wood despite him playing well, Josh knows where to run and was passing very well on the weekend.

Edit - oops forgot about Wellingham and Presti ..... geez I'm luvin' the depth.
