We won last night and I can't find a thread on the 'General Forum' saying Selwood stages for frees.Did hell freeze over last night ?

There is always a Selwood bagging thread when we win.There's a Johnson thread and a Chappy thread,but no Selwood.I'm just having trouble getting going today because I haven't read the weekly Selwood bagging thread.

I was listening to SEN (this morning or yesterday morning?) and Balme responded to the comment that Selwood gets a lot of free kicks for high tackles. His response was that opposition teams should learn how to tackle and that would solve the problem. He suggested laying the tackle around the hips instead of neck of the kid.

Seemed reasonable advice to me.

good old balme he's a straight shooter except when it's about otto's injury's really so what about selwoods free's what about gazz/judd etc time with the pill while getting tackled&buddys natural kicking arce etc.

The Magpie supporters were giving it to Selwood over the frees. I looked up Luke Ball's stats. He has about the same ratio of frees for and against as Selwood. This confused them no end.

Selwood was great yesterday. Been white hot for weeks. I'm glad he wasn't the one that left us.

If you go hard you get tackled and the tackler cannot think too hard about how they go about it--- then high tackles will occur.

Watched the eagles v blues game and we saw high tackles paid regularly.

The Umpires can tell difference between a duck and an attack on the ball.

Jub, if Bundy keeps getting a game that thread will be up and running before the season ends. Not much we can do about it.

I love Bundy's finishing skills, by the way. Another example today. And of course that clutch goal late in the third quarter against the Pies.
