The VAFA it is... With both of the Whitefriars vs. Brunswick NOBs games scheduled at Box Hill Oval on Saturday and no Thirds game, HQ have decided that it would make more sense to play Thirds U23 Whitefriars vs St Kevins at Trevor Barker oval, even though SKOBS have no other teams in action.

Absolutely no reason why all three Whitefriars teams couldn't play at the same venue! Truly mind boggling stuff.

U19. GE defeated Hampton well. In the GF two years in a row even with a two division jump. Div 1 next year. Seniors and reserves v MHSOB tomorrow. Reserves have double chance and seniors in a knock out.

GE flogged by a smart MHSOB outfit in the seniors. They should have won by more except for poor kicking. GE reserves lost by a goal and have the wrath of Whirefriars next week. Best after game speech I've heard by our senior coach who laid no blame but congratulated the boys for getting into finals first year in a new division and took a lot of the blame himself.
