That's not really a quote...

Im prepared to take it on face value. He's obviously not going to come out and say "I want to leave Collingwood", because if a trade doesn't go through he'd have to answer questions from journalists for the next 12 months about how can he possibly committ to Collingwood in 07 after he publicly stated he wanted out. This way, if the deal doesn't happen, he can come out and say "I never wanted to leave Collingwood", which we all know isn't the case.

Hey look at this guy jumping onto the fence when he sees he is burying himself using his own evidence

Not at all. I stand by my assertion that Tarrant wants out. Where's your quote from the last week (not something that he told Mike Sheahan in he HUN two months ago) that we wants to stay at Collingwood and ONLY Collingwood?

Thank you, that is exactly what I am talking about - and people like you, who refuse to think - fall into.

Not one quote from Tarrant.
Just idle speculation, inuedo and guesswork

I like you, you support my argument better that I can articulate it
Muzz, I agree that this talk about Tarrant leaving has been ridiculously played ad nauseum. Does he want to stay? Does he want to go? You state that there wasn't a "quote" from Tarrant in the document, and you are correct, because there is nowhere that talking marks are used to distinguish an actual 'comment' from him, but there was this line:
The article in The Australian said:
Tarrant, who is contracted for another year, has told Collingwood that his preference is to leave, and that he wants to play for a club that has premiership potential in the next few years.

Perhaps the journo made it up, perhaps the journo was chatting to beedee who always knows everything, I don't know. But when a comment like that hits the papers, how do you want supporters to react?
