Ok so here it is, the supersticious thread.

Well we have now won 3 in a row. YEEEEHAAAA!!! and I want this to continue, so I am asking you all to write down what you've done differently/started doing/avoided doing/or any other rituals that you think has turned our season around.

I for one have not been drunk, nay, better than that, I have not HAD A SINGLE DRINK during our last three games. I know it's beyond belief, but seeing as it worked for the Sydney game (a promise to the missus), then the Derby I felt that if that was my price to pay for us winning then close up the bar, I'm a going sober Also Silverscope has mentioned that he has been going to a pub to watch the game the last 3 games.

So do you have any rituals that you think are giving us luck?

Started going to the pub around the corner to watch the footy and have said all three times i expect us to lose. We win. So guess where i am going next week!

I've noticed a couple this year.

-When I watch on TV we lose, when I either listen on the radio or miss the game we win. Brought home to me during the Derby where I watched the first half on TV during my lunch break and listened to the second half at work on the radio.

-Tipping: I didn't tip us until I got a really wierd feeling that we'd dust of Sydney, have tipped us in every game since.

I bought a new jumper in the off-season. Technically an old jumper as it has real sewn on badges not silkscreens that say Hard Yakka but it's new to me and I got it from the Sammies for $25. Stupidly I hung it on the wall instead of wearing it until in desperation before the Sydney game I put it on. It's getting a bit smelly now and sometimes it's hot particularly at night under the blankets. My wife won't have sex with me anymore & the people at work look at me strange but so far it's all worth it.

Here are a few ways to solve those problems and keep us on our winning strek, remember it's not just for you, IT'S FOR FREO!!!

1: Buy yourself some FeBreeze, will get rid of the smell
2: Put a fan on during the night
3: Get a new wife
4:Quit

C'mon people, we have to keep this streak running. 3 sounds SOOOO much better than 2, and 4 will sound EVEN better than 3

I have got the same undies on from after the Sydney win. Wife getting a bit cranky but must keep the hoodoo voodoo success formula going.

I swore I wasn't going to tip Freo again this year after our loss in round 4 and haven't tipped them in the last three games. I'm happy to take a hit in the tipping comp for Freo to keep winning.

After our 4th loss, I was copping a lot of flak from my mates. To prove I was going to stick phat with the boys, I changed my profile pic on Facebook to my 3 1/2 year old in all his freo gear (jumper, beanie, inflatable finger) and show I am no bandwagoner.
