Do you know your IQ?

Ive seen some mentions in a few of the other threads (mainly the 'smartest poster') about what some people have scored on IQ tests and it got me wondering how many have taken them and what have they scored?

I have done some (at school, a couple on-line) and normally fall between 130-140 with a high of 142 (which I was quite chuffed with at the time)!

So if you have taken a test, how did your score rate? Im sure that there are at least some of you that have done at least one. Lets here how you went!

I did one the other day on some internet site and got 132.

The questions were mainly "what's next in the sequence" questions, so I don't know if it's the best indication.

My one and only IQ test was measured at 141, which cannot be right as that is quite high

I'm not a great fan of such tests though, as I doubt their ability to accurately measure intelligence

I did an on-line test earlier in the year. My result was 159 I dont know what that means as I didnt even pass HSC the first time.

I did an online one too (can't really trust them).

Guess what score I got ... and guess how I did at HSC!

It's dead set uncanny!

I dont believe IQ tests really prove much. The average IQ is 100 apparently. I got an IQ of 121 i think, that was 4 months ago. And like Pumps, my IQ test was basically all "whats next in this sequence" and stupid maths questions.

I was sent to do an IQ test and an aptitude test several years ago by my employer.

My IQ came in at 145

I suggest you forget the online tests and sit for a real test

OK. Well I went there and did the test and apparently, my IQ is 176.

Really, I don't think that the test is totally real and accurate.

It told me that I only had 13 mins to do it, so I rushed through it and ended finishing it in about 8.

I actually did a fake online IQ test where the IQ was measured on how many pages of repeated questions you answer before you realise the test never ends and give up. I ended up doing 50 pages before stopping, which wasn't too bad, about the average, and then I read that someone did 20,000 pages of questions before realising the end was never coming.

mmm I don't think I am a 'highest genius' but not one question in that test should tax a 12 year olds brain (except for US money if you don't know nickels and dimes). The site is all about selling certificates. You aint going to buy one if your just average !!!!

Haven't done the iqtest on the site danni mentioned. Can't be stuffed yet.

I did an IQ and aptitude test 8 years ago to get a job with the National Bank. They will not release my score to me, but as I got the job, I think I did OK!
