HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA, suppose you have to find something out of an otherwise pathetic preseason. I really hope he plays in round 1, it'll be like playing against 21.

The least talented KPP in the competition, to say he has some of the best skills in the comp is laughable. Better than Cox, Hall, Brown, Pavlich, Lloyd, Fevola, Richo, Neitz, Lade, Tredrea, Simmonds, Everitt. Give us a break, he is a chump and if Richmond were serious they would've delisted him last year, taking up the place of a player who could add something to your list.
*cough*Setana*cough*
He is 21 years old you moron better then all of you're young KPP bar Kennedy, LOL at Brad Fisher, what a dud.
And he is in you're leadership group:D

They'll be right. BTW the Tiges list is in a terrible state at the moment - not sure if you'll even be able to reach your traditional mid-ladder status. Instead of focusing on no-talents lke Schulz, why don't the Tiges invest some game time into younger, more promising players. :)

Don't worry parrot your'e still odds on for spoon number 3 in row.

I guess Weaver was 100% right ;)

Richard Tambling (Hawthorn) - They might not be too keen to take someone who will struggle to play for 3 years and Tambling is super-light. Maybe they see him as a goalsneak short-term and Clarkson saw the Burgoynes thrive first-hand.

Then you came to your senses with X Ellis and realised it doesn't matter if a player has no impact for 3 years.

At least Tambling is getting experience before his brake out year at 22yo, unlike Ellis.

And how did Setanta go last night against one of the best KPF is the game, pretty well you would find. Brad Fisher is not a KPF, but that would require some football knowledge.

This is about Shulz and if you guys seriously think he is in the elite KPP in the league, potentially or not, then you are living in dreamworld down at Tiger land.

This is fantastic.

"Worst KPP in the AFL"

"Has no skills"

These are the type of threads that are great at the end of each season :thumbsu:

Well, it will be interesting to see wont it benny boy, im backing Shulz wont play 10 games for your ones this year. Good luck to him if he does, but you are pumping him up on one game in a practise match, he has done less than Tambling in real footy, and thats saying alot.:thumbsu:

If you think Shultz is a dud with no talent who should have been delisted if Richmond was being serious, you have NFI, but hey that was established long ago, if Carlton took that path, they would only have about half their players on their list:rolleyes:

What do you think all you blues fans are doing;)

What are all of us doing. We've won 3 games and we're into the pre-season cup final. We've played 3 teams who have stated they wanted to win the competition and beaten them all, last night kicking 10 goals in a row with some young players showing a bit. I haven't said we'll make the 8 or we'll win the flag. After a practise match Jay Shulz has been declared the most skillful big man in the competition and the saviour

At least we've won 3 NAB Cup games, you havent won anything. The question was do you rate Jay Shulz, no i don't as he has done nothing to suggest he is any good.

What exactly did he do yesterday to make him a potential champion.

Pre-season, who cares, remind me what happened to the last two teams who won this prestigious comp?
I also said nothing about yesterdays match, as I didn't even go, you said that Shultz was the least talented KPP in the league, and that if Richmond was serious they would have delisted him last year. Which is totally wrong and smacks of sheer ignorance and stupidity, all of which has come to be expected from you;)

Yes, we do expect that from you.

One finished last and the other missed the 8. I also believe Richmond missed the 8 the last 2 seasons so it really makes no difference.

So why are you pumping him up? If it means nothing why talk him up. If you seriously think Jay Shulz is not in the bottom 20% of KPP in the league you are in dreamworld, but we all knew that already.

Nice punctuation in there as well. :D

Adress the issue ********
You're just embarrassing yourself furtehr with you're lack of knowledge, Shultz would walk into you're team

Why was this not made a public poll, afraid that only Richmond people would vote yes benny?

Honest mistake actually, I will make it public next time (never made one before so it didn't cross my mind).

btw woah woah woah take a step back - I am not basing this on yesterday's game at all!!

Jay Schulz has always had all the tools to be a superstar. He was only top 5 players yeterday he wasn't a champion. He can take an awesome contested mark (I have links to many clips proving this), he has unbelievable skills (16.3 in 10 games is bloody skillful), and he is only a 21yo KPP so naturally it is no suprise that up until now he has only dominated in glimpses and lacked consistency.

Richmond need someone with his mongrel and defensive pressure. He is someone who when is on the field - the opposition knows it. The way he crashes packs and uses his agressiveness to good nature by being one of the very few Tiger players who 'fly the flag' gives him the kind of presence every team needs on a football field.

You ask for an example of him "doing something" in an AFL game?

He kicked 6 goals against Brisbane as a 19yo, good enough for a "glimpse"?

Who would he replace. Fevola no, Whitnall no, Kennedy no, Fisher on a HFF no. That's our key forwards so he doesn't get a game there buddy. You're lack of knowledge is amazing.

A nice glimpse, but to turn around and say he the best skills of the KPP in the comp is ridiculous and is what turns threads like this into a joke. He may have all the talent in the world but has done very little so far. He may do all those things, but until he does it regularly he wont be rated. I would suggest that he is a long way down the order of opposition teams worries when lining up against the Tigers. Hopefully for you guys he stands up this season and becomes a regular contributor.

Schulz and Fevola leading out in tandem sounds pretty damaging.

Btw if Richmond had of snared Fevola the other year they would have both been lining up together anyway :p

Fevola, Schulz, Richardson, Riewoldt, Polak, Brown, Simmonds, Deledio and Hughes.

Setanta is better than every single key position defender at Richmond.

Besides Richo, Fisher and Kennedy are better than every single key position forward at Richmond.

All 3 that you poked fun at would easily be in Richmond's starting 18.

In fact, with them in your team, you'd probably be able to finish somewhere other than 9th.

Run along now, troll.

No offence but what Light?

You guys are a mess, on the field aswell as off it, your club is the biggest disgrace since Fitzroy and previously University - The performance on the field has been embarrassing for even non blue supporters and the clubs smartness off the field is even more disgraceful which is saying something.

Im sorry I have nothing against your club, but in your position which is from out of the gutter, you guys cant boast about anything, at all, I dont want to hear anything from your lot, bloody disgraceful, you would think after all these years of being the worst club to ever be in the competition you would know to shut the hell up!!!!

Back on the subject, if Schultz stays injury free he will be an elite Key Forward by years end.

Do you feel better now. Given our time of 'being the worst club to ever be in the competition' we still managed to beat you and we have turned the corner (THE LIGHT). We have as good a list of young players as anyone and we'll just about finish higher than you this year. Over the last 2 months, a new president has arrived and dramatic changes have been made to the off field running of the club.

Now, in relation to telling me to shut up, your 'wonderful' club has done bugger all for 26 years so maybe when you win something you can begin talking, until then, shut up and know your role, as a supporter of the team most likely to shatter their fans by finishing 9th. I didn't realise there was an amount a games your club had to win before you could post on BF.

As i have said, i hope Schulz plays well for you this year, everyone knows you need it, but i will be stunned if he is elite ever, let alone by the end of the year.

When was I talking or boasting about my club?

Im not one to boast because as you have said our last 26 years have been barren, but Im embarrassed everytime one of you Carlton Fans speak it up when you guys now where you guys are comming from.

Yes you have got a new president and some young talent (Murphy and Gibbs elite)n but you guys havent done anything lately, remember you guys won the Wizard Cup only to be ****e all yeaqr, so all im saying is shutrup for now!

I'm not trolling here, but why would you be stunned? I mean for any highly rated junior KPP they say it takes time. Schulz has only played 37 games and is just 21yo. Would be be so shocking for a highly-rated young KPP to take time before he shows all his talents?

In general, not just for Schulz.
