Hey guys, just a quick pole on whether or not you refrigerate your bread, I need some form of data for an assignment. Thanks in advance.

Home made bread (fortnightly) and then kept in freezer section. Been doing it for years.

Not in the fridge, dries the bread out.

But I always freeze fresh bread.

Only freeze.

Anyone who refrigerates their bread should be shot.

Freeze
It takes me a week or more to go through a loaf. No need to waste it by letting it go mouldy. Will normally freeze a day or two after purchasing.

I actually think frozen to toasted sourdough is better than fresh to toasted. When you toast it it's like the middle kind of thaws and is soft whilst the outside is crispy

My personal favourite:

Chop a banana and do not throw at anyone
Whilst chopping sack Hinkley and lightly toast frozen bread
Warm steel pan and melt butter
Place banana in between two slices of bread
Add small amount of brown sugar
Place in pan when butter begins to brown
Flip when crust forms
Once crust forms on other side remove
Eat
Sack Hinkley

That's of a tough one.

Sourdough tends to dry out more when frozen because it has no preservatives so I’ keep that in the fridge, bread on the other hand freeze.
fridge and freeze both go to the "Yes" section.
