I remember when I was a kid that I used to look at this emblem with a sense of aweness. I looked at it and it mean't something even though I am a passionate Hawk supporter. The other day I saw it again and it actually bothered me that this emblem has faded to almost transparency, just like the Carlton FC.

I say this with no pleasure, but the Carlton FC we knew and once hated, is dead and no draft picks can ever fix it. They are gone from history, gone from our memories and been replaced with something, well at least in my head that I do not recognise.

More evidence to support H2F's contention is emerging over at Fort Apache where the Carlton Flogettes all have their pencil-clits in a knot.

Cast your minds back.

In the old days when Carlton was Carlton, St Kilda was their lubed up bowling alley.

George Armstrong Custer and the 7th US Cavalry had a better record against the Sioux and Cheyenne than what the poor old Sainters had against the Blues. And the bully-boy dynamic extended right back to 1896.

It was one up-the-clacker job after another, especially at the Old Whore Park. It is no wonder that Anti Carlton Hero Robbie Muir went berko against the Blues on two occasions.

Of late, the record reads eleven straight in St Kilda's favour. That's right: 11 -0.

This abysmal result would have have happened in the old dispensation.
