I've not smoked any of the synthetic weed, but from my non-existant experience, I'd not condone it.

Quite simply, it has major repercussions. Nothing of the mental sort, but physical ailments. That 'Kronic' phase last year (or whenever it was) resulted in issues with internal organs.

Good for LOLs.

Synthetic weed aint all that bad for you people.

Its all grass with chemicals in it in the end.

Certainly felt pretty nasty to me after a period of smoking it.

More chemicals than grass. Not a fan.

Weed's dirty stuff and is more harmful than tobacco. I hope ut is never legalised as it would just cause more of the legal drug problems we have today.

Actually yeah, just reminded me of a period last year..

I was smoking so much of it, and at the cost of the lil baggys they sell it does a lot of damage to your wallet.

Probably safer smokin actual herb.. I mean bushies, some of the hyrdo we get these days is pumped with that much chemical its too harsh to smoke!!

3 times I have. Not something I'd want to do regularly. The first two times it really didn't do that much to me, most notable effect was that I was scatter brained the next morning. Third time i Had the mother of all come downs, depressed and horrible I was that day.

That said, I'm all for government regulation. Grow the stuff without the chemicals, tax it ,sell in state shops and use the taxes for harm minimisation and other economic purposes. prohibition never works. And if Alcohol is legal, there is no rational reason as to why natural weed shouldn't be.

The mother of all comedowns from weed? That'd be the worlds first.

Try smoking Ice for even a day or two then start talking bout comedowns. :p

Only tried that shit a couple of times but now I can see why it has such an evil rep.

I was having peaks and troughs the whole time - like mini comedowns every hour or two where I was struggling with my own mind not to feel depressed, only for something to capture my attention and lead to the next euphoric rise. And all I wanted to do during those down periods was smoke more. Scary how strong the urge was.

Can see how it would seriously f**k with people's minds, especially if they weren't well grounded and stable to start with.

Yup, you gotta be strong minded to smoke the stuff. It can really twist you up with prolonged use!

Im not touching it anymore, a lot of my mates go on hard benders on it but always ends up in fights, huge loss of money and big comedowns!

Its the worst when you've just smoked a lot, then an hour later your chasing... chasing... chasing.. chasing that first feeling. Just chasing your next hit, its all downhill from there.

One of the worst drugs, doesn't really make you feel all that great and is quite expensive for how much you actually get!

It is evil!

I was thinking the same!

Don't remind me. I quit the ice a few weeks ago, best thing I ever did.

Good on ya! Seriously, only ruins friendships, your career and relationships with everyone!

No matter who you are you can't be fully functional on it, you will eventually break down! :p

You must be getting your hands on pretty average weed.

Completely wrong. How many people die from cigarettes? How many from weed? Do some research.

How?

"The available evidence suggests that those jurisdictions which have decriminalized personal cannabis use have not experienced any dramatic increase in prevalence of use."

National Drug and Alcohol Research Center, Australia.

"It has been demonstrated that the more or less free sale of [marijuana] for personal use in the Netherlands has not given rise to levels of use significantly higher than in countries which pursue a highly repressive policy."

Netherlands Ministry of Health, Welfare and Sport.

"The different laws which govern the use and sale of marijuana do not appear to have resulted in substantially different outcomes if we view those outcomes solely in terms of consumption patterns."

Australian Institute of Criminology, and the New South Wales Department of Politics.

"There is no evidence to date that the CEN [decriminalization] system ... Has increased levels of regular cannabis use, or rates of experimentation among young adults. These results are broadly in accord with our earlier analysis of trends in cannabis use in Australia. ...They are also consistent with the results of similar analyses in the United States and the Netherlands."

Evidence from the National Drug Strategy Household Surveys 1985-1995 (Report commissioned for the National Drug Strategy Committee, Australia).

"The available evidence indicates that the decriminalization of marijuana possession had little or no impact on rates of use."

Journal of Public Health.

"The available data indicate that decriminalization measures substantially reduced enforcement costs, yet had little or no impact on rates of use in the United States. In the South Australian community, none of the studies have found an impact in cannabis use which is attributable to the introduction of the Cannabis Expiation Scheme [decriminalization.]"

Journal of Public Health Policy.

The Dutch experience, together with those of a few other countries with more modest policy changes, provides a moderately good empirical case that removal of criminal prohibitions on cannabis possession (decriminalization) will not increase the prevalence of marijuana or any other illicit drug; the argument for decriminalization is thus strong."

British Journal of Psychiatry.

"In sum, there is little evidence that decriminalization of marijuana use necessarily leads to a substantial increase in marijuana use."

National Academy of Sciences, Institute of Medicine (IOM).

Do some research.

Do some research.

1. People die less often from weed because it is an illicit subject. Do some research.

2. Here are some very good reasons why it should stay banned.

wait, of everything there you addressed one point and didn't provide any real evidence to support it? He clearly put a lot of effort into that post and you should be embarrassed to have retorted so poorly, have some class.
