1/2 an hour per day is OK with me.
Probably, but it's a case of not being able to fit much else around my lifestyle.
I work from 2pm until 10.30pm, and go to uni 2-4 mornings a week, so I'm doing both workloads full-time. Getting home at 11pm, there isn't much you can really do that won't infringe on the privacy and noise levels of housemates (I live in a shared household) and neighbours, so I'd say I'm usually on here about 2 hours a night reading BF while getting uni notes off the net, so it's still pretty constructive.
I used to work night shift and I couldn't friggen BUY sleep. Tried drinking during the day, tried reading, tried watching TV, tried sitting on the net... all these things to make my eyes tired, and none of them worked. Even prescriped sleeping pills didn't work, so I just accepted the fact I would have to survive on 3-4 hours sleep a day, work 8 hours, and fit as much as I could into the other 12 hours... BUT... with all my friends being at work during the day... there's not much option but to go into relax or party mode and waste days doing whatever. Te internet was a fair part of that, but I've probably reduced my usage to less a quarter of what it was two years ago.

Unfortunately, I spend far too much time on here. I'm online from 4:30ish, til about 6, all weeknights except Thursday. Most of that time is spent on Bigfooty, when I'm not talking on MSN. It would account for a lot of my late work at school, too (not that there is that much of that 
) because everytime I have to do work online and use the teacher's password to access it, guess where I go straightaway? *shakes head* I'm hopeless!
I dunno why I'm on here so much...it's rather addictive! I guess I just enjoy reading all the stuff etc....so yeah!
