You would want to be interested in that sort of thing, it goes for almost an hour and a half, but it's a doco that should be shown to all school kids. It probably won't change too many of them, but it is healthy education.

Been on a doco kick recently. A few interesting titles to check out.

Many thanks. Great list.

The quality is bollocks, but it's really interesting.

Will be watching this one tonight. Anyone seen it? Sounds great too.

A series of documentaries called 'Breakout' by NatGeo, with each episode going over a different successful prison escape (mainly from the US). It's really well done and I recommend for any crime buffs.

All eps are up on YouTube.
i ve been watching these. Totally addicted.

Great call, my good man. :thumbsu:

Louis Theroux's 2nd LA Stories documentary on dying / terminal illness that just came out is one of his best. Hard to watch and puts everything into perspective. Extraordinary ending too.

..cheers, love Louis.

What are the other two LA Stories like...about Dogs and Offenders?

Worth watching and very interesting but not as much impact as the terminal illness one. The sex offenders one has some tense interviews...a few people taking issue with Louis' interview style.

The English Surgeon (2007) - Moving documentary about English brain surgeon Henry Marsh and his travels and work in Ukraine with his colleague Igor Petrovich. They know they're up against it but they keep at it. Great stuff!

Just watched this. Think it;s well worth a watch. An hour long documentary about a group of 26 refugees moving into Chile, follows the first year of their lives in Chile and it's quite surprising how it ends up compared to their expectations when they first got there.
