Does anyone here speak Indonesian?

I've got a project due tomorrow, and if possible it would be great to get someone to read over it. Its only 132 words (I'm only in year 9).

I'm pretty sure most of the words are out of order (as in wrong grammar) but my teacher won't be hard on that.

It is in Indonesian then English (so it's easy to translate).

i actually failed indonesian in year 9, i hadnt done any of the assignments and 'pak' said "if you do this one assignment i will pass you". yeah i dont think i really rated the importance of indo.

No idea lol, I remember travelling in our car on a holiday they were talking about this on the radio, interesting topic.

At my school its compulsory to do a language (you get a choice of italian, french or indonesian) in years 7 and 8. Then it becomes an elective, which if you choose it you don't do drama and media.

Got 90% on my oral on this (which is reading it out, how you pronounce the words etc.) and 87% for how it was written. Pretty happy.

And to the two ^^ posts above, I learned more Indonesian in one lesson of high school than I learned Italian in 6 years of primary school!

I probably would also say around the 80% mark for the assignment, however it depends on what marking system the teacher uses.

I don't think she uses a marking system! She just wrote down O=90 & W=87.

And trust me, this would be pretty good compared to the rest of my class.

I did Indonesian from year 2 until year 9 and would of had to keep doing it if i didnt do year 10 VCAL. At our school it was compulsary to do it year 7 to year 10, or you could do Italian.


Had the funniest teacher and class ever in year 8 and 9, Pak had no idea.

Aduh, Aku tinggal di Indonesia selama satu tahun, tapi karena aku sekarang tinggal di Australi aku lupah semua Bahasa Indonesia. Itu jelek, karena aku main menjadi guru di Bahasa ya, tapi aku malu dan ndak ada orang di sini yang aku bisa berbicara.

I did Indonesian from Year 9 to Year 12. For VCE I had to do a scary oral examination where I had to talk to an Indonesian examiner. I got 30/50 for Indo but thanks to scaling and VCE bonus points for languages it became 40/50, so not bad.

My advice for VCE students is to do mainly math, sciences, and languages. You'll get the highest ENTERs, which are important if you want to get into uni.

My advice is do subjects you are actually good at and enjoy and you'll get a higher ENTER than if you do subejcts you hate and can't do.
I know a girl who got 95 without doing science, maths or lote subjects. Infact she did, Art, Vis Com, Drama, English and I think History.

I know a few people who did Drama, etc and got high ENTERs. These people I think are the exception as they tend to be very highly talented.

But definitely if you're not good at specialist math then it's pointless doing it. 0/50 scaled up is still going to be low.
