Three Crows miss session

Graham Johncock, Ken McGregor and Jason Torney all missed today’s main training session at AAMI Stadium but are expected to be fit for Saturday’s West Coast clash.

Johncock and McGregor both have a sore calf and trained inside on the bikes while Torney has been restricted by a sore shoulder.

The club, however, believes all three will be available this week.

Trent Hentschel, who missed the round 16 match against the Kangaroos because of a corked thigh, trained and should be cleared to return to the team, which will be without Andrew McLeod (foot surgery).

Nathan van Berlo (collarbone) and Ben Hudson (knee) also did everything they need to do to be given the all clear to return this weekend.

My excellent run in Dream Team is coming unstuck slowly... McLeod, Davis, Motlop & now possibly Stiffy grrrrr

Embley out is a huge loss for the Eagles - he is a player who often gets under our guard. Whilst Cousins probably will return, the Eagles midfield depth is lacking with others out.

Also, Hunter out is a blow too, though will be partially offset by Hansen.

Even if we lose 1-2 players under doubt, we have the depth to cover. No excuses for not beating the Eagles on their dung heap & virtually wrapping up top spot.

Yeah if Embley misses we should win this one as long as we are switched on from the word go. Our fringe players, the lads who come in to replaced injured blokes always step up so we have a lot of depth. It doesnt seem like West Coast have this luxury.
