Dangerous to use the word WILL Stiffy as opposed to MAY.Stiffy_18 said:Again you are not listening. Its just not registering with you.
I never said that Douglas will not over-take Bode and push him out of the rotation. In fact I would be bitterly disappointed if he doesn't. All I am saying is that Douglas WILL NOT take Bode's spot THIS year. I will say it again, if Bode continues his from he has shown to date this year and he remains injury free (huge if this), he WILL play every game this year and Douglas nor Skippy will take his spot in the side.

How is his defensive pressure? Or do you see him as a goal kicking forward?
bigman said:He can play at either end and in the middle. I think he got in the team in the year as the BP.
But I have seen him play on the ball and play up forward out of the square one out with his opponent.
His defensive pressure is good and unlike others of his size he can take a good grab a la Wangers.
The sooner he becomes part of our team (not until our form and structure returns though) the better we will be.
I think in some respects he is more ready that VB or Knights were last year.
This is not to disrespect their potential either.
SpringChoke said:Is there anyone you can compare him too?
bigman said:I have said on other threads - that some of his qualities remind me of parts of Paul Kelly and Mark Bickley in their younger years. He can also take a grab like Gavin Waganeen.
But he is not the splitting image of any of these players.
SpringChoke said:No worries. Cheers.
The drums ........ the drums.......bigman said:Springy - one other player comes to mind - Ben Cousins.
In terms of actual movement around the ground.![]()

Glenelg had a bye this week so he probably decided to head home for the weekend. Nothing wrong with that considering he doesn't have a game nor training on until monday.
