A personal favourite.

Went to training early one day when I was about 14, a car drives into the old car park and out comes Browny from his ute, still in his work gear. As he passes by he goes, "How ya doin' mate? ******* windy out 'ere today innit? Jesus. Have a good one"....and he went inside for training without me saying a word.

For some reason I have Richmond in my mind but could've been the Saints. Wonder what year it was so I can work out how old I was given I remember it like it was yesterday too!

It was against Richmond in 1992 at Waverley. We got done by 3 points. He also cost us the game that day by missing one from the goal square with a minute to go.

He did it again kicking for goal against North the following year on a Friday night.

*Now that I think of it, the initial 'stubbing the toe' may have been against the Saints in '91 or '92.

Cheers mate! I thought it was Richmond! Good memory given I was only 9 at the time :)

I also remember the match in the early 90's I think at Princes Park where we were down by around 40 something points to Geelong at half time. All looked lost but they switched SOS to full forward and he kicked a bag and we came back and won!! :thumbsu:

10 goal 3rd quarter, was there and will never forget that game, we were lucky to only be down by about 39 pts as Geelong kicked badly.

Sos kicked one of the best left foot goals on the run I have ever seen from right on 50.

Oh another one, the 1992 Centenary match Carlton vs Collingwood. Was amazing
My Pies supporting friend didn't talk to me the whole way back to Adelaide.

Lol I have a funny story from this game. I had a can of coke and as Carlton kicked a goal, I raised my hand in the air and dad punched the air in celebration and accidentally knocked the can of coke out of my hands and all over the Collingwood supporting family in front of us. Was very funny!!!

Translation:

I had a can of coke in my hand and threw it all over those scum supporters in front of me when Carlton kept kicking goal after goal.

:D :p
