I’ve just discovered this thread. Thought I’d offer this, maybe it’s been mentioned somewhere previously. I’ve been to 4 Grand Finals in my time. They were consecutive GF's. If you could choose, which consecutive 4 would you go to?

Do to circumstances (and having the right girlfriend at the time - with connections) mine was 1979-1982. In 79 I was sitting in the Ponsford Stand directly in line with Harmes' punch back from the boundary (it was in, unless you’re a Pies supporter -then it was out by a meter). In 82 I saw my first fully naked woman.

I’ll be at our next GF with my wife and 3 adult daughters. It’s been hard supporting the Blues in recent times, but we all are committed and anticipating better times ahead.

Robbo seems to have bigger admiration amongst old timers so I good enough for me. Marcou was a good player but no champ by any stretch. Champ character like Percy though.

He did that type of stuff in a game too. I remember a noise coming from George Harris stand and a lot of commotion in that area. I was standing down below with two school mates and word got around it was clown Percy doing his usual shit again. Small things amuse small minds.
