So when you think about it we didnt do to bad . We had 3 wins and lost 6 games by under 3 goals. So we could have ended up win nine wins and could have finished around 14th.

So instead of #5, #6 , #14,
We could get #2, #3,& # 5 by trading out #14, with #19 and either end of round 1 2024 pick#19 or #20 (courtesy of the assistance package by the AFL) with GC and still have another 2024 end of first round left over..

Honestly a lot of opposition club supporters hang shit on North and I don't think it is fair, North punches above its weight in terms of performance relative to the size of supporter base and for a period of the last 20 years the AFL have done their best to push North down, with that whole move to Gold Coast thing. North will win another flag before Essendon win another final.

Because they are all first round picks (even if its in name only) I assume that also means they are all 3 year min contract players.

I think North has legit broken the brains of a couple of main boarders. Bzparkes (West Coast) and Kruuueze (Carl) in particular are really struggling with this outcome.
