others come to mind are fiora (TRADED) and Petifer (not much one can say other than he isnt very good).
Yeah Fiora has been dissapointing but i suppose he at least has played 91 games.91 more than Danny Roach, as an example.I haven't given up on Pettifer. He's 21 so I wouldn't write him off just yet.Danny didn't have a clue how to play him.i think he could well flourish under Wallace.I'll get back to you in 12 months and be happy to concede defeat if he turns out a dud.

wouldnt mind some first round success stories for the tigers.
Yeah me either but we've been swapping our 1st rounders for marquee players.Last year was Kane johnson, this year was Nathan Brown.Probably our 2 best players.
The only other 1st rounder in recent memory that we've used was on Schulz at #12.He won a rising star nom in 2004, so I'd hardly call him a fairlure.I'm sure your counting McDougall as a "sucess",rightly so.
Incidently Hartigan played every game this year as an 18 year old taken at pick 70.Jwatch out for Jackson next season.Taken at pick 50 odd.

i think every draft has 1-2 top 10 players that dont make it. only 20-30 players from each draft make 100 games, law of averages say they wont all come from the first 20 picks.
Agreed.I'm rapt we re taking 8 players in this draft.About time!

Yeah but how much $$$$$$$ did he suck out of you guys whilst delivering two fists of SFA?

Top selection - and contract re-negotiation too!!

Two fists of SFA?Is that what All Australian is reffered to as these days.Last year he had a serious back injury that he was forced to have an operation on which pretty much wipped of his season.******** happens

This year he had 2nd most taps in the league.

If he's so crap why did Geelong just gives us 2 first round picks (all be them late picks) for him?
Yes he was a little overpaid thats why we offered him less.

If your suggesting Ottens was a crap pick your wrong.

Better stick to cricket funky.

We have never really had high picks to stuff up.

I think our highest pick in over a decade is #7. Corey was 8, Bartel 7, Mackie 7. Too early I suppose to judge Mackie but the other two are good selections.

Our worst draft blunder would Leigh Brockman at #8 way back in 1996. Couple of poor late first round selections but pretty good overall. Some shonky trades have hurt us over the years.

yep the eagles definitley would be Brandon Hill one pick before Lenny Hayes. at 10.

there is only one bloke we can thank for that, and thankgod he left because he only had slightly damaged our footy club before he took the high road for more money and fame. If MM had stayed i am certain the eagles would be bottom 4 atm.

Mick wanted Hill because he was a CHB and Jacko had done his knee the previous year and was going to be missing most of the next.

Ezra Bray wasn't exactly a great one either, as well as Foster and Spriggs. We made up for it though in that draft by picking up Enright, Chappy and Ling

James Davies.... another blunder by us....
And supposedly we were hiding him from the rest of the teams before the draft.... Too busy trying to hide him to actually take a look at his skills... or lack there of
