Why isn't Josh Battle more highly rated, he looks like gun from what I saw of him.

Is Battle someone that may turn into a defender if he's not quite good enough forward? How's his agility, pace and competitiveness?

Battles the type someone will take a punt on before our pick i reckon due to the lack of tall fwd options in this draft

I'd take him at 23, but that's just me.

Long term he's a powerful mid that spends significant time one-out forward. Think Membrey crossed with Armo.

I wonder if Port are eying two SA kids.. they must think they can get a player they really want at 14 IMO, for their trades to really made sense..

But on the right he looked good.

177 and outside isn't ideal, seems a little like Hartung.
Looks to have some agility though which should help him in contest

If i add up all the players i've been told will be gone by 23, i'm pretty sure it comes to more than 23.

Its hard to compare him to an existing player but hes more roberton than fyfe. Hes a half back flanker possibly third defencive tall or a winger.

If i had to describe him as a player maybe roberton mixed with port adelaides polec

But he certainly is not in the fyfe mold

We need a Dempster replacement.

We delisted Curren and Delaney from the senior list, bringing it to 38.

Spot 39 and 40 are filled with the upgrade of Holmes and addition of Steele.

Still need to fit Brown and Stevens on the SL and figured we'd place pick 23 there as well. So yeah, we need to delist three.
