Draft Picks

Why not just trade for draft picks. I know it sounds far fetched considering we have to pay at least 92% of the salary cap and we would lack experience but it might be what we need. If we traded well and recruited well we could do a Brisbane or a Bulldogs and draft four or five future stars from the one draft. We could trade Whitnall, Camporeale and Lappin and we would gain at leats two first round draft picks and a few second round picks. When it comes to having to pay 92% we could pay players like Kouta massive amounts for just one year.

or just pay or younger players like simpson bentick and walker a little more then they deserve to keep them at the club for their whole careers,

But we wouldn't want to lose the 8% room in the cap because we would want to bring in top of the line players whenever we need to.
