Awesome, thanks mate.Confirmed broadcast format.
Countdown 10-1. Red button will allow you to watch every pick live without the Fox commantaters talking in the background.
And it is apparently a AFL decision to go with the countdown format, not FOX.

Just copy the NBA format and force the clubs to wait 5 minutes between picks, allowing expert draft watchers to discuss each player and show highlights. Then in round 2, give them 2 minutes to make the selection, the maybe do rounds 3-6 in a clump...
You have to show pick 1 FIRST and moving forward, it allows "experts" to discuss, who is the slider, who is top of their lists... So much better than the current reverse order structure.

This is the best way to combine "Suspense", Highlights and discussion. Trying to do it by counting down is just stupid.
Would be even better if we had a huge crowd of different supporters cheering and booing in the background like at the NBA draft![]()

Should watch the NFL Draft Then![]()
Is it even more rowdy in the stands in the NFL Draft.
Don't forget the Brownlow Count. They totally ruin any suspense by re-ordering the reading of votes so the winner's match gets read last each round for the last few rounds of voting.
It was apparent Swan was winning this year's medal with ages to go, simply because they kept reading Collingwood game votes last. FFS, rushing through every other game and then pausing 5 seconds between initial and surname of the eventual winner is not a way to build suspense!
Anyone know when the actual draft occurs, not just when the coverage starts? Safe to assume half an hour later?
My thoughts were 6:30pm for a 7:00pm start to the actual draft. Not 100% sure though so if anyone can confirm this, it would be appreciated![]()
Is SEN definitely following the draft? How come it has The Run Home as its program? do they do it during that program?

Our team has arrived in Sydney to bring you all the action from the #AFLDraft tonight.
The coverage starts at 6:30 adelaide time, I guess there will 15 minutes of chatter, so it will probably commence at 6:45 adelaide time (7:15 EST).
Isnt it 6.30 AEST the coverage starts?

Anyone know why SEN wouldnt work for me? Keeps coming up with "ready" I then click play, it comes up with "connecting to media" then goes back to "play".
If I go to Nova937 or any other Perth FM radio station it works fine
Strange as it was working for me through trade week
