Pretty slow compared to CDT, who was faster than Grilj at the combine
Harley ran 2.96 at testing

Woweeee until its confirmed I won't brag about it. But that's a big ****ing deal.

Because then I can draw the conclusion and brag about the apparent reason why Dyson looks slow is he works too hard on the field.

IF that 2.96 time is true then I'm ready to admit that Sharp is the greatest prospect since Rowell. He has no knocks on his game if his athletic testing is like that.

U16 top 10 agility
U18 2.96 speed matching Harley

No to Titch. If you want experienced guys to drive standards etc you can still achieve most of that with the correct choices of low-mid aged players that are big on work ethic. I just don’t think we get a list clogger that isn’t part of our future and has no prospects anymore at AFL level. Even worse if we give him games.

Again even if it’s to strengthen WAFL you can bring in that with lower age bracket / still somewhat experienced guys - that if things turn around might also be in our future at league level too best case scenario

Which is the right thing to do for all clubs.

I was completely against Duursma, but I'm starting to get Bont vibes - still think he's a bigger flight risk then HR but in 3 years the other 2 could be deposited anyway lol

Duursma and Sharp at 1-2.
Too hard to predict 13, but trust Massey and the team

I will be filthy tho if Evans, Banners and Williams are bidded on and we don't/can't match. Unless there is a ridiculous slider on night 2

I think Duursma will be fine with the go home factor. He seems pretty genuine from what I've heard him say.

Could also help us keep Reid if those 2 click.

I'm dreaming of a Warner, Reid, Duursma, Sharp & Hewitt midfield combo

Toby Whan being compared to Clinton Young is lol. Must be a pump and dump into AI.

I’ve come around to actually thinking we go CDT at 2, and trade down our next pick as they’ll be so many options in and around there for another mid. Sharp at 2 I’m totally cold on as it stands
So trade down 13 BC their will be so many options for what exactly. 2nd round half back flankers with midfield potential.

So who are the midfield options you elude to?

Well if we land 9 then one of Sharp, Farrow, Cumming likely to be in the mix. Robey more likely to be gone but he’s the only one of those more certain to be off the board. There’s some nice options there and considering you’d have WD and CDT already coming into that pick it’d be a pretty tasty haul

Actually Gossage said that it was a player aligned to West Coast (i.e. an NGA) and then Willem mentioned “Koby” which would likely be a reference to Koby Evans as they would have spent time together in the AFL Academy and he would know that he is aligned to the Eagles.

Despite mentioning earlier in the interview that he is mates with Koby LeCras, he isn’t tied to West Coast given there isn’t currently an uncle/nephew rule. Plus I doubt he’s going to drop his underaged mate in it about drinking on live radio given LeCras is only 17.

So I think Farmer Lister might have been correct.

What was the drinking story all about?

That's trading UP from 13 to 9.

Interesting part of what Twomey had to say was that there’s some uncertainty on whether we take CDT given that we need midfield help so Sharp and Robey might be a consideration. Seemed less equivocal that we take Duff-Tytler and mentioned other clubs think we might pass on him

Also believes Essendon still looking at trading up and that Carlton’s pick 9 is still a target for us

Thinks we may bid on Uwland
Is Richmond also looking at splitting one of their top picks (or it is just a rumour?)

There was an interview with Tigers list manager saying that they would be happy with 3+4, look at splitting 4, and look at moving picks to 2026.

I checked with my BF keen Tigers fan and he confirmed it.

If we take duursma and CDT then the only genuine midfielders, Robey sharp cumming will all be gone by pick 13. IF, and that now seems a bit if, we can prize 9 out of the blues, all three will most likely be gone anyway. Sharp might slide, but the bombers are into him. Robey and cumming both a chance for tigers and dons, and I'd even suggest if available the dees would consider.

Taking farrow at which eve pick, 9 or 13, after duursma and CDT would be a terrible outcome. If we can't slide pick 2 pack as some sort of a deal and have to take a player at pick 2, we need a mid, sharp cumming robey. Just has to be a mid.

We should definitely move Cripps to the rookie list.

Fox footy hasn't got Cody Curtain in its top 50.
We have plenty of developing talls ,but this kid has a booming and accurate kick.
He's a big kid already ,would be exciting to see him with a couple of preseasons under his belt.
Could we find a list spot for him ?
Would be a really good target for the Beagles for a couple of seasons.
He'll 100% go national draft and is better than most of the backed of that bias list

This will be the steal of the draft if he goes this low, according to foxfooty.

45. BLAKE OUDSHOORN-BENNIER
Or..maybe Fred Rodriguez. Not a bad option and I think he is better than our a academy kids.

Not sure why he's been forgotten 😕

I swear to God, these player comparisons are always so terrible.

Duursma - wears a headband - WILL DAY
Annable - inside mid from QLD - JOSH DUNKLEY
Sharp - medium length blonde inside mid - JAMES WORPEL

Just admit you're comparing players on vibes and haircuts.
Duursma reminds me of a slightly taller Finn Callaghan.

To be fair not that different to people on here comparing Sharp to Mundy because of their appearance, despite them having different skill sets from what I can gather

That was me

And yes it was based on appearance as much as anything

You got a problem with that?

Blamires listed in there late, makes me think he'll go in national draft
Tends to fit the trend of the best young VFL player going in the national draft. I wonder if Eagles have a plan to draft him in the national draft. Three top talents and picking him first to get a midfielder and also to address the gap in "middle age player" bracket. Would not be expected however I wonder if recruiters find him more bankable as a midfield option then a 2 or 3rd round midfielder in this draft.
