Cant help but feel someone will punt on Burton. Carlton would grab him at 23 here.
Imagine coming out the draft with Weitering Francis McKay and Burton. Thats your forward and back half settled for the next 12 years

Francis and Collins. Premierships are built on defense. Get that set, we have the inside mids and outside runners now. Forward line exceptional despite lack of depth in talls.
Draft/trade to upgrade midfield next year (Neale/Parker?)

Brown ~ Collins ~ Lever
Laird ~ Talia ~ Francis
Smith, Seedsman, Hampton

Milera and Francis would be cause for a substance fueled bender. In fact just one of them would be huge. Francis looks like he could pull on the jumper round 1. Has a pair of mighty oaks for legs. I suspect with our second pick we'll pick up a victorian who will walk out in a few years

i think we 'need' all types of players we dont really have a strong squad in any area.
Milera with Cameron and Betts rotating up forward and through the midfield would be incredible.

That sounds feasible ......it looks as if our pick will depend on Melbourne & Carltons pick preceding us?

In terms of what Melbourne and Carlton have taken in this Phantom ....yes i could see those players being taken

The longer the month goes and the more phantom drafts get written and star popping up - it looks like he might.

He's gone froim 3 to now 11 with Carlton having a choice between him and Mckay

Maybe, I guess I'm not convinced of Milera as a pure wingmen like Brad Hill. Menzel, Cameron, Betts and Milera would be too many up forward for players that won't get 20 touches a game.

Brett Anderson is a pretty astute judge - he's followed these guys all year, was at the combine - think he's also got an idea which way clubs are leaning.
