Looking at our list we need a KPF, Someone that can play in the midfield with x factor and another classy mid.

Is this because we rate him more highly or think Weiderman will be gone before our pick?

I would prefer if we took a country kid or a local as I think we would be a better chance of retaining them.

Absolutely no chance with the high picks we will be retaining, not a snowflakes chance in hell!

Doubt we'd even consider a rookie spot with our inside mid stocks already bolstered with Gore.

Maybe pay slight overs with our 3rd pick and get his brother as well...much less likely to leave. Keep their contract expiry dates offset at all times.

Curnow most over hyped player in draft I'd rate him around pick 15

I like his versatility. He can play everywhere and started playingin the midfield before the knee injury. I could see him as a big midfielder who can go forward and kick goals. That versatility golden with new interchange rules.

With Burton, leg is a worry and he seems to be less versatile.

well obviously not in the nation draft , I meant as a rookie. Not sure why not, considering we just lost dangerfield I wouldn't say we've bolstered our stocks with Gore.

I think Francis and Parish will be gone before our first pick. I think they will be gone in the top 5.
I would be happy to see us get Milera and Burton with picks 9 and 13. We have a use for both. We need a third tall forward (Burton) and we certainly need the outside run of Milera.
There is also a chance we could get Luke Partington at pick 28. Luke is going to be real good. Comes from Eyre Pen and his father died this year which put him out for a bit.
So he has slipped a bit in the draft rankings and maybe doesnt want to leave SA due to his mother being left without his father.
If we walked away with Milera, Burton and Partington we have done well.
I also think the club may look at SA players this draft as there are some that meet our needs and after Danger leaving alot of Crows fans are pretty vocal at getting SA kids.

think that ship's probably sailed, if/when Wright gets delisted I imagine being the nice guys the footy club are they'll promise to re-rookie him

Ramsey will get another year IMO. Burton is a huge huge risk at 13, I wouldn't be unhappy if we took him that early but would hope he's there at our 3rd pick.

Most mock drafts have him going around 12-15. I think alot of clubs are remembering how Stringer paid off.

From memory Ryans break was a bit worse than Stringers. He does have similar talent though.

Will be interesting to see where he goes. Obviously all the clubs would have his medical records and would have had him checked over. If he is given the all clear by the medical staff just watch him go in the top 15. Wont be there at 28.
He was a gun last year. Was rated higher than Francis was in 2014.
