The difference that one was written using numerals, the other using letters?![]()
The article didn't mention that he refused that test (which I guess may be different?) but I suppose that's a possibility.
He may slide to pick 23![]()
One to ten is written, 11 and above is numbers. Like how Carlton finished 18th as opposed to the top ten.

Weitering's mum still driving him round - being a younger kid, and well I don't know why. Not a big deal - easy to forget these are 17-18 year olds we're talking about.Going to be hilarious when his mum drops him to training for the first few months of his afl career
Not necessarily a family related to a player, often coterie or player sponsor families or a family known to the club.Do Melbourne guys drafted to Melbourne teams get placed with a host senior player family?
Or he was concerned about them testing him for something other than alcohol?
Wouldn't say 'stuffed' by any means. I just think Carlton should be focussed on drafting a swag of down-to-earth, blue collar types of players in the next year or two. A club like Melbourne, that has just done that, may be in a better position to take the risk.So are we saying ... drink driving is arrogant, Melbourne are now in a position where they could use some arrogance, Carlton needs to avoid arrogance .... Carlton's culture is stuffed if we select Curnow?
I'd say one of Carlton's biggest on field problems is being too introverted. Board room arrogance has little to do with the players. One of our most disciplined players is Ed Curnow. If Charlie had any issues, you'd think big brother would be one to straighten him out.
When I said limit, I meant the old adage that one drink takes one hour to get out of your system. Some subscribe to it, I personally wait three or four and I'm on my green P's.

Only those with AVO's against family membersDo Melbourne guys drafted to Melbourne teams get placed with a host senior player family?
I believe one of our 4 victories was against the Dees?Key word. I was contending that they aren't at all proven, and you've seemingly agreed with me, albeit in a weirdly aggressive manner.![]()
I assume the penalties for refusing are higher than for a low level blood alcohol reading. And given he recently got his license he should know this.
Dunno about this bagging of Curnow, sounds like a good bloke to me.
TAXI!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Agree - I'd love to have a beer with him!!
Melbourne has a significantly better list than your utter joke of a team.
They have built a solid albeit young midfield and drafted extremely well over the past few years. Their midfield bats deep, they seemingly have the best young forward in the land. This list is emerging.
I expect this team to routinely smash the arse out of Carlton for years to come, just as the other 16 teams will.

First offence and its a minimum 2 years for refusing a breath testWay higher penalties.
If you refuse a breatho, the penalties are inline or worse then High range drink driving (The worst you can blow). That is in NSW anyway. Not sure about Vic, but I would presume the same.
