Who would you recommend as the guns for the tigers at Dream Team?

I have Nathan Brown as a forward due to his low price for a guy as skillful as he is.

Main queries are Jack Riewoldt and Jay Shultz?

I thought that Schultz looked very damaging in the game against us a couple of weeks ago. With good delivery he could have a few good games? What is he like around the ground though? Is he the kind of player that could have a decent game with 3-4 goals but not get more than 7-8 possessions and a handful of marks?

As for Riewoldt, is he likely to play round 1?

Rewolt is still to young they wont burn him at the start off the season wait to second half off year Shultz will play he owes the Club big time it is make or break for him this year.

no to riewoldt, schulz maybe but def jump on foley.

Brown would have to be the bargain of the dream team. At the start of last year he was over 500,000, now he is around 350,000. If he can recapture the form he was in before he broke his leg, watch him shoot up to around 600,000.

Schulz may kick a few goals but i dunno for dream team his stats are never that big

He does a lot of tackles and his field kicking is spot on. So even with 14 possies he could get 10 marks, 3 goals, 6 tackles and no clangers.

His effectiveness makes up for lack of high possessions, but even then you'd want him to be still get a ot of contested makrs to make up for it or something.

Newman is a gun and has recovered well from his leg is bound to contineu the good form he had

I haven't seen the latest Dream Team website so I don't know how much each player is worth but based on last year:
Both Bowdens are good for heaps of points though they are likely to be pricey
I agree with whoever said Foley. won't cost much and will get the ball 20 to 25 times a game. will be similar to what Birchall was last year for the Hawks.
If Polak comes cheap, he will play 22 games and will likely get a bit of the ball
Howat would be cheap and if elevated to the senior list can expect quite a few games and is a possession winner
I'd be wary of Schulz. Will come cheap, but doesn't get much of the ball.

Raines could be worth a go. Didn't get a lot of stats, but did get hios 15-20 possessions most games. Could be pushed more into the midfield this year (although I hope he stays in defence) which would improve his possession count.

pattison is a steal at about $200k

last week at 22 touches 11 marks and 15 hitouts. i know its only practice match but he looks to have really come on. better value than schulz who will kick more goals but is too one dimensional

ohh yeah i have coughlan in my team but i have benny cousins as my skipper i reckon thats an elite midfield with those 2 in it

I'm thinking about Andrew Raines, who was super impressive last season.

yay or nay?

imo too pricey

Foley...steal, Brown.... steal.

Schulz, Tambling, Pattison, Deledio are players who could gain better value, or could turn to nothing compared to their value. (punt players)

Krakouer, polo overpriced

Riewodlt be a good reserve

Watching the pre-season I think Rainsey might actually go back a notch this year. Will be overpriced in DreamTeams. Schultz will give the Tiges a lot more this year but just isn't a point winning type.

Foley definitely, Howat if he gets promoted, Deledio will return more than you pay for him, can guarantee that Tambling will give a bit more with the possibility of a big increase, and if you're in a comp that rewards hit outs then get on Pattison - you'll be well looked after.

Pettifer also looks excellent in the pre-season, but with Richo, a fit Browny, a stepped up Schultz and a 'who knows what will happen' Kingsley it's possible that points may dry up a bit.
